The Titans were reportedly on the verge of trading for Torry Holt on Thursday before the trade fell apart.

According to the National Football Post's Michael Lombardi, the deal fell through after Holt refused to restructure his contract. Appearing Friday on NFL Network, Lombardi said he suspects the Titans are still the front-runners to land Holt since they were the only team interested in trading for him.

Meh! Holt, Smolt! No more WRs

I agree with Ramsey on this one. Do we need Holt? Not really. If he takes a small salary then fine. But we still have to think about our salaries for the draft people! We already have NATE Washington & Mark Jones!!!!!!! I love Cutler in a Titans uniform. But we just gave Collins a 2 Year contract. So I Don’t see Mike giving up any of our players nor our first round pick for Cutler. If it’s 2nd or so on then Do It. I think we are better off letting Cutler go to other teams. We need to concentrate on our depth at CB/DE/ OLB/G. That is what need to focus on. Collins did his job in the season last year and VY will come around. I think grabbing Pat White (3rd Round Only) with Young will make us an awesome running team for the future. When we could show Tebow how the wishbone is supposed to be run. Just to clear the dust for those of you who that don’t know how over-rated Tebow is: 92% of his plays at Florida are in Shotgun format. What happens when the great Tebow plays Haynesworth/ Shaun Rodgers with only one player infront of him. I like Collins for this year only; then Young & Pat White for the future. & Lendale should be traded by the end of the year for teams with RB problems. I think Greer & Henry have more fire than Lendale does! He better bring the fire by July or CJ make take over the spot like MJD!

Forget Holt! SHAUN MCDONALD

Yes Holt was good but he has endured 10 seasons. I think we should add Shuan McDonald, a former lion. The kid has Speed. Why spend TOO MUCH on Holt when one can spend LESS on a Better LONG Term player like Shaun McDonald. Mike R.; anytime you want to talk, I’m here for you……
