Nate Washington to Visit the Tennessee Titans Today
Gary Estwick is reporting that Nate Washington is visiting Nashville today. Is there any reason to really be excited about this? Washingon had 40 catches for 631 yards and 3 touchdowns. Sounds a lot like the numbers that Brandon Jones put up to me, and most people here aren't upset at all that he is gone.
In my opinion, all Washington does is add another #2/3 receiver to the biggest group on #2/3 receivers in the NFL. Why are we not bringing in Laveranues Coles, or Housh in for a conversation? Heck, even Joey Galloway had back to back to back 1,000 yard seasons before last sesaon. Continuing to add mediocre NFL receivers isn't the answer.

Washington has some good speed though
but I do like what Lav Coles would bring to the table.
Housh isn’t fast at all and that’s what we need right now

Looks like this could be another
grit our teeth all through free agency year.

We can afford both Coles and Washington
But I guess that would be too much for out conservative front office.

Would really like
to Have Coles here… I would really like to know why we have shown no interest at all in him. Pretty dumb

We usually wait to make offers
I would actually say our chances are better for Coles than they are for Washington.

Thoughts and prayers
go out to the families and friends of Marquis Cooper and Corey Smith… Hope for the best.

Gotta Disagree
He had 40 catches behind two solid wideouts. I think he’s getting ready to peak. I liked Jones too but I didn’t see the comparison to Mase. Mason just lacked the opportunity to display his wears. Jones had every chance he needed. Heck I think Roydell was better than Brandon Jones.
We need to sign Nate Washington and a veteran with something in the tank.

I don't think
he’s playing for anyone… But I believe he’s still around somewhere.

He was really good that one year
until he had that stupid ankle injury

I’m certain that N.Washington will be in two-tone next season. He said himself that there are only 2 or 3 teams he wants to go to and Tenn is the one he most wants to play for. I think he will fit in nice, give us a burner on the outside. His speed alone is an instant upgrade from B.Jones, plus he has pretty good hands.

Am I missing something?
I thought the knock on him was that he dropped passes… Gage is better than this dude
