Assessment
I am not sure if you guys were drafting what you think will happen, what you think should happen, what you want to happen, or combiantion of those, but here are a few tidbits from me.
I haven’t been following draft boards and things too much. However, if Beanie runs as fast as I heard he might (4.3s)…he wont last until the Colts.
Lot of OTs…
Good call on OL (at least as a need) for Steelers. I still dont know how they won the Super Bowl with that seriously mediocre OL.
No QB till 10?
WIll Nicks go that high?

Who in the top 10 will take a QB?

Any of the first four teams conceivably and an outside chance of the jags if they really liked one of the 2 QBs…I dont neccesarily think that would be the smartest pick for any of them, but given the importance of QB and the success this past year of two rookie first rounders, I think that at least one of the QBs will be picked higher than 10(unless they tank at th combine). I personally dont like either of them and wouldnt draft them. I guess it goes back to my first tidbit…what will they do, what should they do ,etc.

My amateur assessment
I like it a lot. Pretty good job.
I do think the 49ers would take Stafford over Sanchez. Stafford fits Singletary’s run first philosophy better, IMO. I love our pick. Don’t know if we will do that but I love the idea.
I also am skeptical on the Pats picking Moreno, although you just never know with them, and it seems they always make a good pick.

I made the 49ers pick
and went Sanchez over Stafford because of the Cali connections… they went Smith over Rodgers and look where that got them!

I love Alphonso Smith
He’s not big but he is an amazing ballhawk. Him and Cortland setting the edges would be lockdown for years to come. If we dont resign Haynesworth what do you guys think of Perria Jerry if he falls to us?

They would love to have him if he fell that far

I don't think there's any way Perria falls that far, personally
but if he did I’d love to see him and Albert side-by-side!
