You said before the season you didn’t anticipate getting a deal to be back. Still feel the same?

"Yeah, I feel that, unfortunately I do. There might be some indications that I might be back, but I don’t know. I don’t lean one way or the other."

From Kuharsky's chat with Bulluck. Go read the whole thing, but warning, it will depress you.

My gut tells me that…

… the only way Bulluck is back with the Titans is if they do tag him next season.

How he would respond to being tagged is anyone’s guess, but I have a strong feeling he’ll be very pissed by it.

Not sure if that will effect his play on the field next season or not. I’d say it wouldn’t. But I get the feeling if they do tag him, next season will definitely be his last with Tennessee…

I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...

He may be pissed by a tag

But he shouldn’t be. His salary would be higher in that year of being tagged than he will get from any other team at his age.

especially since it'll be guaranteed...

any multi-year contract will have more dollars, but they’d be dollars he probably doesn’t actually cash-in.

Anything we can do?

As fans I think we should do something to keep him here. I definitely don’t want to see him go anywhere else. Tennessee is his home!!!

Would writing letters work? Getting a billboard? Maybe try and get as many people as possible to wear #53 to a home game??

There’s only a handful of players I would go so far as trying to make an effort to keep in any sport, and KB53 is def one of them.
