Am I the only one watching this?
Or, just the only one who will admit it?

we need packers to really do some damage
we really need the packers to beat the ravens and the steelers
Go Packers!
Now if we can just get Denver and Jacksonville to lose………..

now the pack are choking
we need them to win so they basically choke it away in the second half
Welcome to modern coaching.
No matter how well the offense is doing,
no matter how bad the defense is doing,
no matter how great the offense is in general,
no matter how bad the defense is in general,
no matter the opponent,
no matter how important the game,
no matter how much better your offense is than your defense,
no matter how good the opposing QB,
no matter how good the opposing offense is,
no matter how many times it has cost you the game,
ALWAYS put the game in the hands of your defense and the opponent’s offense as often as possible. Even if Peyton Manning is running the other team and you’re the 32nd ranked pass defense, ALWAYS put the game in the hands of your defense.
ALWAYS proceed with petrifying fear that your offense might make a critical mistake with the lead or in the closing monutes of a game – and NEVER let it occur to you, even for a SECOND, that the defense might make a mistake.
You must ALWAYS change your offensive philosophy when you go up a couple of scores to a hyper-conservative clock-managing one, and you must ALWAYS rely on your defense to make the big stop – even over and over and over again in the same game – even if you’ve completely stopped trying on offense. EXPECT the defense to stop even a Peyton Manning 3, 4, even 5 consecutive times, while assuming that if you open up the offense and start attacking, you will surely make a critical mistake.
