Tennessee Titans Morning Links: They Say 3 Percent Of The People Use 5 To 6 Percent Of Their Brain Edition

 I never ever celebrate a player's injury, but I read the last clause of this sentence and my eyes rolled back in my head, cannons went off and an entire orchestra hit their crescendo:

Cornerback Nick Harper was placed on injured reserve Wednesday, ending his season and possibly his career with the Titans.

 With all of the talk about statistics running around I thought we could use a little grounding from the reigning king of East Nashville, Todd Snider, and his Statistician's Blues.  Snider reminds us that 'They say 92 percent of everything you learned in school was just b*ll***t you'll never need'.

 Chris Johnson has a lot of people focusing on him and his historic rushing total, but he's using the opportunity to shine a bit of that light on some key Pro Bowl snubs: the O-line and the Sarge.  Ahmard Hall especially gets a lot of credit and kind words from CJ.

 Yesterday must have been nostalgia day in the Titans' facility because every Titans beat writer has a reflective Kerry Collins piece this morning.  No new news though, as Kerry still wants to start somewhere and doubts the Titans want to pay $6 million next year for a bench warmer.

 In that same link Jevon Kearse finally opened up about the mysterious injury that has played a big role in keeping him inactive this year, and lets just say he probably should have been on the IR a long time ago:

"I have a tear in my meniscus. I have a cyst in it, and also a fracture, like a fracture in one of my joint lines. That’s an equivalent to a pothole."

 Terry McCormick talks with Chris Johnson about the hallowed territory he's treading on and the good time he's having getting there.  The real meat of this article though are the comments from the entire offense, who are using the pursuit as a way to keep motivated and pumped heading into a game that's very far away and means very little otherwise.

 ESPN's blogging continuum produced an accurate smelling list of 212 players who would be changed from unrestricted to restricted free agents if there's no labor deal to save the salary cap.  Here are the Titans:
