Tennessee Titans vs. Seattle Seahawks Series at a Glance
The Seahawks lead the all-time series 9-5. The last time these two met was this game in 2005. We will call it the Ben Troupe game because he had 116 yards receiving. That is nothing short of a miracle. Jeff Fisher is 0-5 against the Seahawks.
This game is obviously all about Chris Johnson and the records that he is chasing. He needs 63 rushing yards to break Earl Campbell's franchise record for single season rushing yards, 75 yards from scrimmage to break Marshall Faulk's record, 128 rushing yards to get to 2,000, 128 rushing and 17 receiving to become the first player ever with 2,000 rushing and 500 receiving, and 234 to break Eric Dickerson's single season record.
The CBS broadcast will be handled by Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon.

This is what I am hoping for:
128 rushing and 17 receiving to become the first player ever with 2,000 rushing and 500 receiving

i haven't got tickets yet
There’s lots on craigslist, but its a pain in the ass buying them from canada. I might drive down the gameday and buy them off scalpers…

Id be willing to help you out.
Most of the tickets are in pairs and they dont want to break em up, so if I can find a good deal Id be willing to front the money, you can drive down day of and pay me back for your half and have a titan fan to watch the game with.
I just emailed someone about 2 tix on the 20, covered from the elements, and going for 50 if youre interested.

Is it bad, that having lived in Tennessee for the majority of the Titans being there
that I have seen the Titans play twice and neither has been at LP Field? It will now be Liberty Bowl during the tenure in Memphis (ugh) and now Qwest in Seattle.

If CJ does get his 2K
He will be the only 2K rusher since the playoffs expanded to not make the playoffs.

Retire #9!
The Bills in '73 were the ones who didn't make it on the Juice's legs.
Even the Lions made the playoffs when Barry did it.
Way to waste the season Fisher.

But
I believe only one 2k rusher has ever made the playoffs. Would you rather have CJ break Dickersons record or be one and done in the playoffs?

Why is it that Fisher has never beat some teams?
I keep seeing Fisher never having wins against half the teams in the NFL.
The NFC teams...
shouldn’t matter as much. The Titans only play them once every 4 years or so. San Diego, on the other hand… :(
Just saying...
If he is one of the best Coaches in the NFL, then why are there a ton of teams he hasn’t won against…
The chargers and seahawks
Are the only teams that Fisher has never beaten

Seriously...the Oilers/Titans have had some good runs
They have never been the Bengals/Lions so it amazes me that whenever they hardly EVER have a winning record against opponents.
They lost one year to Seahawks in a heartbreaker
They lined up to kick the game winning field goal. It was blocked and returned for a touchdown. Talk about heartbreak.
Why is gramsey no longer listed as "Official MCM Hater" at the bottom of the blog?
He’s listed as a photographer?
"And with the 16th pick, the Tennessee Titans select..."
A lot to pull for: Chris and the team
I’d love to see Chris put up one more massive game and own the all-time rushing and yards-from-scrimmage records. And it’s also really important to win this game and have a .500 record to look back on to start next season.
Ends are beginnings, and beginnings are not ends.
