i know i might be in the minority,
but what the heck was the playcalling on the first drive in the second half? I mean do these coaches not realize that the d is playing like crap, and getting beat EVERY single possession? you have to go all out to cut this thing to one possession, and they just give it back like the defense will make that it hasn’t made all night, much less all season against this type and amount of talent.

Fisher has found a way to keep the faith up and make everyone believe. Hopefully the turn around after 0-6 wont blind anyone into believeing that he can still get it done. PLEASE close his window of opportunity and realize that for as many years as he keeps saying we can get there that it just isn’t happening.

The problem lately (and especially today) is that Vince is becoming as overly reliant on Britt as Cutler is on Olson – and defenses are starting to take advantage of that dependency.

I love Vince and CJ.
there are alot of things wrong with this team other than them. The mission now is to get CJ his numbers. If we don’t work for that then we are wrong. The problem is not the QB or the RB it is the coach.
The biggest change won't happen:
Fisher will return.
But it’s not a contract year, so we won’t have a 13-3 regular season followed by a first-round playoff loss. We’ll be about 9-7.

We’re just an 8-8 team with weak Draft position going into the offseason and a philosophical animosity toward being players in Free Agency.

It’s a horrible matchup for Tennessee. Add in the turnovers, penalties, and poor coaching decisions, and a blowout was unavoidable.

Here's the bad news.
Fisher gets to write this one off to injuries. He looks great for turning this team around. For the next 4-5 years, I think cj and vy alone can carry this team to 7-8 wins a year. Fisher will never get fired. He’s just good enough to keep his job, but doesn’t have the killer instinct to get us where we need to go.

A great team will limit the damage of turnovers by making stops. That’s SD’s sixth straight TD drive, not counting the kneel down. That happens in the Horns play Baylor. It shouldn’t happen in the NFL.

Call me crazy
But Collins getting 6 consecutive starts (and sucking in nearly all of them), which is on Fisher, may be the difference in Tennessee being out of the playoffs and maybe clinching a wild card.
This, in spite of the defense and pathetic special teams, stood out for me.
I was hoping in honor of McNair the Titans would make another Super Bowl run.

We should not even try to win against Seattle.
Because we need some decent draft picks. We need a defense. We might not have the worst defense in the NFL, but it sure looks like it. I want to puke. Our defense is embarassingly TERRIBLE.
Chuck Cecil needs to be fired. Nick Harper needs to be benched. And everyone who has spent the majority of this season just hoping that CJ would break a record, rather than our team doing well (read also: use LENDALE MORE) make me feel ashamed.

it was an interesting season
dare I say fun?
0-6 was painful, ending with the worst football week of my life in the 59-0 beatdown
next 8 games were a blast, with vince and cj playing great and winning games….
this was another beat down, but that’s alright…..next year looks bright
this year, the titans were the best non-elite team in the league…….which is better than nothing i guess

The Titans don't "suck"
But they’re not an elite team like the Chargers. Even if the Titans made the playoffs, the best they could do was win the Wildcard game and then lose the next.

They’re very good, but tonight they just feasted on a team that
1) can’t pass rush
2) can’t cover (see #20)
3) makes stupid penalties
4) has two injured OLBs
What are they supposed to do? What a good team does…

I base an elite team off of what they've done
At the end of the year, if they win the superbowl, I’ll probably change my mind. It’s a difference in definition between you and me. You’re basing it off of season, in which they’ve clearly had an elite season (seeing as they’ve wrapped up the second seed) but the team itself has never won a superbowl. I might be thinking more of a dynasty, but that’s the way the definition works in my mind.

The D has been terrible all year.
I’m not even sure they actually qualify as a “defense” in the games against quality teams.

Hi guys
Was at my parents house during first part of the game, I’m sure I missed a lot of unhappy posts!
Oh well, don’t despair. The Titans defense needs an overhaul. I would have been shocked if they could really hold their own against the charger offense. We’re just not wired right now to deal with the elite passing teams. If we know it, hopefully the coaches recognize it, and some stuff will get changed over the offseason.
CJ is a beast. Looks like he is probably gonna get 2k. Young regressed a bit tonight, but is still a keeper, and that’s a great thing to know going into next season. No big question mark at QB, they can concentrate on fixing defense.
i disagree. geriatric collins was not our biggest issue.
the biggest problem with this team, apart from the defensive injuries that have plagued us all season, is chuck cecil. that is without question our biggest problem that needs to be fixed. nick harper is a close second.

And we’re ranked 6th in run D.
250? Not a chance. However I think you can beat us up for the 150 you need to get over 2,000. We aren’t good defending screen passes so the Titans should go heavy on that.

That better be our priority #1 come draft day.
