My random Thoughts on all things football.
First off, let me say that I never thought we would make it this far. Second off, I was wrong about Vince. Third off, I love this franchise.
Seriously Titans fans? Can you believe the turnaround we have made? I mean wow has there been a greater story in football this year than the Titans? From lock for the first overall pick to contending for a Wild Card Spot? Wow.
Does anyone else believe that it is the AFC South, not the NFC East, the best division in football? Look at the broad view. Our division has the best Quarterback in the league (Peyton Manning), the best Runningback (Chris Johnson), the best Wide Reciever (Andre Johnson), and even possibly the best Tight End (Dallas Clark) in all the league. Oh and then you have the Jaguars. Yeah...next topic.
I am a firm believer in CJ. He will break 2,000 yards and Faulks record all in the same year. I don't know of any runningback that he quite emulates. He is CJ. He is so good he has is own style. People looked at CJ earlier in the year and compared his big play threat to Barry Sanders. Now I think that people have finally given CJ the respect he rightfully deserves. Congratulations CJ. Now go break those Records.
Vince Young. The last person I figured to make a difference this season. You proved me wrong. Thanks big guy.
Well with the season end rearing its head what position do you think the Titans will draft for? I'm gonna go out on a limb and say Linebacker. I love Keith Bulluck, but I don't trust the front office (ex. McNair, Mason, George) to get it done.
I think Kenny Britt is the stuff. 'Nuff Said.
Well thats it for tonight. Please comment and converse.

You know what's really scary?
It’s possible (not likely, but POSSIBLE) for all four teams in the AFC South to end the season with winning records.
Anyone know if that’s ever happened before?
In 2007
The NFC East did it. If your talking about 8-8 a winning record. The cowboys were 13-3. The Giants 10-6. The Redskins 9-7. And the Eagles 8-8.

If you are counting 8-8
then both the NFC east and…
us, the AFC South
Colt – 13-3
Jags – 11-5
Titans – 10-6
Taxans – 8-8
I consider a winning record
9-7 or better.
8-8 just means you didn’t suck as badly as you could have.
Texans won't end with a winning record
They don’t know how

Draft....
good call on the linebacker, would love to see us land Rolando McClain from Alabama. This is coming from a Horns fan by the way. But we have alot of other needs as well backup QB, OL depth, DL, AND CB.
w0rd
I think we will draft D-Line in the 1st round definitely. I wouldn’t be upset about LB, but we have Tully, McGrath, and Keglar already on the roster. I think we go QB maybe in the 3rd, get some OL depth, and another DL.
Not so sure we go DL
We just drafted Marks in the second round. Defensive Linemen rarely make a difference in their first year. I suppose that Washburn is giving the kid all he can handle which makes me think how good he can be.

True story
I was thinking that KVB is probably gone. And Ball might be gone so we will need DE depth. Where do you think we go 1st roubd?
I think
if we go D line it has to be a DE playmaker….If SenDerrick breaks out next year with Jason Jones and the rest I like our DTs
I think DE or CB…whoever is the best available….
What do you think?

I hope
That the Panthers let go of Julius Peppers. I know that he said he wants to go to a 3-4 defense to be a linebacker but I hope we still at least make an offer.
If We do go DE with our first pick (which I hope we won’t yet) I would like Greg Hardy from Ole Miss.
However if we go CB then I would have to say I have no idea who we should take.
But whoever our first rounder is, they should be able to make an impact of a first and second round pick (since we traded ours away).

Just a thought....
what would happen if Jim Washburn were able to get his hands on Terrence Cody from Alabama. Motivated, and maybe a little lighter. Could be scary…..
I think Cody is going to be a 3-4 Nose tackle.
