As the year comes to end, we are continuing to induct our Charter Members of the Music City Miracles Hall Of Fame. We inducted zackmann a few days ago, so without further ado, the second Member of the Class of 2009 is:

THE STATS:
gotitans27 has been a member of Music City Miracles for just over two and a half years, joining on March 8th, 2007. He has made 2,323 comments on SBNation, 2,316 of those coming here at Music City Miracles. gotitans27 has also posted 49 fanposts and fanshots for us to enjoy. Like zackmann, gotitans27 likes to rock the game threads as he watches the game with the best Titan fans in the world.
THE HISTORY:
gotitan27's first comment on record came during the game thread for the Rob Bironas show in Houston. The Titans won that game (no thanks to the defense) because of #2's record setting day with his leg. It seemed, by his first comment, that gotitans27 was none too pleased with what he saw out of our team:
That was just awful. AWFUL! That was a let down by the offense, defense, and coaching staff. Sure the offense pulled it out at the end, but had Bironas missed the last FG, it would of been a collapse worse than the Giants/Titans game last year. Just because there were a couple of long passes and a successful FG doesn't excuse it. This is 3 weeks in a row that they have not played very good football (I know, they did the first 3 quarters). This is not a very good Titans football team right now! There, I said it! I hate saying it, but it has not been good lately. I'm not saying they won't be, but right now they are not.
We failed twice to recover an onside kick...since the rule change, recoveries by the kicking team has been horrible, the Titans failed, got lucky because of a penalty, then failed again. This was not good!!!!
Thank God Bironas did what he did!
Thank goodness we didn't lose to Sage Rosenfels!

Wow, I'm honored!
Seriously, I am. I’ve said it several times before, I really think this is a great site. Those of you that run it and work on it everyday do an outstanding job. For people like me that don’t live in the Nashville area, this makes it so easy for me to keep up with what’s going on. For example, I’m a little upset with the fact that I have now learned Bulluck is out for the season. We all know that’s probably the end of the Titans career for one of our best players….ever. I remember when I first learned of the internet and email in 1995. I signed up for an email list that a couple out of Houston did called “Oiler Update”. I mailed them 5 bucks and they emailed me twice a week. Once with a preview, and then with a review of that weeks games. We could email them questions and they would answer, I always seemed to be one of the few people with questions (probably because I was the only one dumb enough to send in the 5 bucks!). Anyway, we’ve come a long way!
Things that may or may not be true……big Eddie George fan, as much as Billy Volek may live in the hearts of some, the number does come from Eddie. My first email address was gooilers27! I was devastated when Eddie went to Big D. I’m glad that he only played there one year and is and always will be a Titan. I’m not a Hoosier, I live on the IL, IN border….both my parents grew up near Bloomington, IN….so I have always been a big IU fan. Calbert Cheaney is my all-time favorite athlete…and I still think James Hardy is going to be a star! I do coach volleyball at the middle school level and just completed my second season as a varsity coach in the sport. I think that may be why I tend to stick up for Coach Fisher so often, I try not to second guess coaches, I guess.
When I saw you were doing the Hall of Fame, I honestly thought that it was cool and it would be an honor that people listen to what I have to say enough to make me a part of that. Thanks to Jimmy, August, Smash, Hal, Gramsey, and everyone else for all that you do. I try not to be negative in my posts, I try not to cuss or put down others. sometimes I may get frustrated, but it is a highlight of my week to watch the Titans play and chat with you all. It’s also been a goal of mine to be the first to say “Touchdoooooooown Titans” whenever we put six on the board.
Here’s to hoping the winning streak continues and some other games break our way. Whether it does or doesn’t, I look forward to reading about it and discussing it right here at Music City Miracles!

Good speech. The only silver lining I see to Bulluck getting hurt is that maybe we’ll be able to afford him in free agency now. But it still sucks big time.

this is a great idea. keep em coming. i find it funny how gotitans27 first comment seems like a typical first comment for someone on a blog… it seems like they are readers first and than it takes all this pent up rage to finally go and VENT to the only people that care to hear it. haha. that is what i love about MCM… living here in toronto no one cares to talk about the titans so this gives me a place to come and vent my frustrations.,,, among other tihngs
