Still waiting for a winning record…

I threw them a bone today.

While I weep for the Titans and curse Fisher, (tip of the hat to A Few Good Men) I am happy with what has transpired once Jeff had his head removed from his ass.

Did Fisher screw the pooch with stubborn loyalty to KC? Was it arrogance regarding our PR/KR position? I don’t know. But throwing Cook/Britt/Hawkins into this past game shows that they are taking some of the blinders off. I still want to see Hood over Harper, so we aren’t out of the myopic woods yet, but there is Hope. (Pun intended). I think FIsher realized he didn’t have anything to lose at this point except his job.

I remain at 4.

If we win this week, I’ll jump it up, probably to 6, considering that that’ll be a HELL of a win.

That said, I’m still not ready to pretend the first six weeks didn’t happen. As of right now, this is still a sub-.500 club.

I am impressed that after the bye week the team came out fighting and what has been managed after starting 0-6 and the New England Massacre. While I do question some of the personnel decisions on Fisher’s part I do think it is amazing that he has been able to keep the team together and put together a winning streak.

I voted 8.

But if we beat the Colts i would go 9.

Still at 8, for now...

I stayed at 8 this week solely because of Harper over Hood, and personally I think Hawk should have a shot at returning duties. I appreciate loyalty to players not losing jobs to injuries, but when he’s clearly been out played .. it’s time to do whats best for the team.

by J3G77 on Dec 2, 2009 3:29 PM CST reply actions

I dropped back to 7...

because Hood is still on the bench. Harper has been struggling to keep up on plays, yet Hood did great. I’ll stay with 7 until I see some change in Harper or the line-up.

Only because the 86 year-old bird slinger is part of the equation.

I went with 4 as well

I wouldn’t phrase it like that, but I essentially agree. The mess up with Harper is huge. Almost cost us the Texans game, IMO.

I voted 5...(as in 5-0)

I’ll increase it by 1 after each win…which would put it at 10 at seasons end (Sorry T-Rac…that Stabler is mine!)
