SB Nation
Random but I've been browsing about the other NFL blogs on SB Nation and it seems that few have the feel that we have here at MCM. So my question to the GM or one of the coaches is if there is stats on SB Nation on how much traffic flow is on each blog and where our fine blog ranks? And with that I'd like to thank you guys personally for this blog, it really is the best Titans website out there. Here's to fried fish this sunday.

there is a link
at the bottom of each sb nation site that says “site meter” which will give you traffic stats. i honestly don’t now what rankings would look like, but maybe smash does. jimmy, august, smash and g-ram do a great job keeping this place running, but sites like these can’t be as good without all the comments and dialog from everybody, so it really is a group effort.

So very true on the comments hal
We love doing this, but it would be nothing without people reading and commenting. The first season this blog was started it was just me writing and pretty much just my family and friends reading. Those were tough days to get motivated for material. Fast forward to now with the addition of 4 great contributors and a bunch of commenters, and it is a whole lot of fun.

According to ballhype.com’s blog rankings,
MCM is the 12th best NFL blog on the internet, the 6th best team specific blog, and the 4th best SBNation NFL blog.

Hey smash
Do you know what metrics they use?
Titans Blogger at Music City Miracles even though gramsey hates it.
They use linkage
- The rankings are driven by linking between blogs. In general, the more links a blog receives from other blogs, the higher its score.
- We also consider how many different sources are linking to a blog. 1 link each from 10 different sites is worth more than 10 links from 1 site.
- We don’t count blogrolls, and instead only consider links that appear within recent posts. This keeps our rankings timely, but it also means that if you’re planning a vacation, you may want to consider recruiting all-star substitutes to help keep those links flowing.
- The strength of the source factors into the value of a link. In other words, a link from the top-ranked blog is much more valuable than a link from this obsolete blog in our rankings–just like in real life. For the curious, this calculation involves iterating through the linking patterns multiple times in a technique similar to the original Google PageRank proposal–but on a much, much smaller scale.
- We consider links created in the past 90 days, but depreciate their value over time: recent links are given more value than older links.

It's #1 in my book!!
Actually, you guys are my support group. Where I live, everybody loves the Cowgirls…it’s enough to make you sick. Nobody…and I mean nobody mentions the Titans at all. I feel like one man on a deserted island or something:(

MCM is what gets me through the week.
I work in an office for the typical M-F 9-5 grind, and I get my work done very quickly so I have a lot of free time, and this is what I do during that free time :)
Thanks to everyone for keeping my week interesting!
