Can someone please explain to me Jeff Fisher's love affair with Nick Harper?

When I watch Harper play, I think that he's a rich man's Renaldo Hill. He makes coverage errors, gets picked on my opposing QBs, and is the weak link in the secondary. I understand that he can tackle in run defense, but so what?!?

Ron Hood, the guy in the secondary that was involved in the second half resurgence, played great and has been largely INACTIVE while Harper has been a starter. What does Fisher see in Harper that I'm missing?

probably the fact that he usually leads the team in tackles in the game.

i’m not a fan of harper either but he does always seem to be around the ball, especially the run. he does get torched a lot in the pass plays but he makes up for it by tackling the running back for a loss or minimal gain. i still think hood is better and should be playing. harper is one of the reasons we fall behind so easily, because he gets beat in coverage.

that seems clear to everyone outside of the coaching staff

it really is baffling. naked pictures maybe? or even worse maybe harper has pictures of fisher in a peyton manning jersey. itd be easy to bribe him with those, fish would never want anyone to see that.
