I am back, sorry I was away so long

We just returned from San Juan Puerto Rico after some badly needed r and r.     The Titans have a mini shot at playoffs this year.  Last year was the year to get it done and they fell short of that with the very memorable and extremely painful Ravens game   I was so upset that I could not watch football for about a month after that.   Then this year rolls around with high expectations and low results.   I don't think the Titans have a realistic shot at a title until they get another beast on the line like the mighty Haynesworth.  He was so impressive and so dominant.   VY has revived his career for the time being,  at least he has admitted he was very immature and big headed.  He will probably get to collect the 14 million and then we will see .  I question Collins desire after getting a new contract, he just didn't seem to give a crap this year.  I have lost a lot of faith in Fisher after the jersey stunt.  I used to love that guy,, but frankly am a bit turned off by that.   I am back and hope for the best.  While I have been turned off by what has happened overall this season, I remain a Titans fan and hope for future.

I saw a fan post with a Joy Kat where are you? That made me laugh. Honestly, I don't want to see Kerry Collins take the field again, ever.

I would not mind seeing what Booty can do if Young cannot go. It just appears to me that Collins took the contract and said, I think I will just play like garbage and protect my body and enjoy retirement. Last year was the time to get it done it was the the best year the Titans have ever had and they fell short, not his fault, but it happened, so we have to move on.

Ya that happens alot tho. Look at fat albert. Hes garbage now. But expensive garbage. I think Ledale would have been a beast this year cause its his contract year. Oh well maybe we will sign him for cheaper then what hes earning now lol

Oh and Collins sucks too. Shoulda never offered him a contract. That was a bunch of wasted money

I am the Real one, I absolutely couldn't stand the guy a couple of years ago

He came out and said he grew up a little bit. He needed to a lot. It was long overdue. While I will never be a fan of his I can respect someone for learning a lesson. A lot of these big ego athletes never do get over themselves and remain a jerk forever. Brandon Marshall figured it out real fast this year and what a great player he turned out to be.

How can you never be a fan of his??

I just don’t understand how you can say this, being a Titans fan, unless he’s personally harmed you in some way. Look at what he’s done on the field, the maturity he’s gained. Even you recognize this. That’s what makes me want to be a fan of someone. He thought he had it all figured out, and then realized he didn’t. That’s not something many 22ish-year-olds are able to do. Not to mention what he’s done off the field. Look at what he’s doing for McNair’s kids. Enough said. The only off-the-field issues this guy’s had are the reports that were blown out of proportion and the pictures a few years back, and those things are clearly behind him. All of this considered, plus the fact that he’s revived YOUR team, how can you say you will never be a fan of his???

absolutely

Everyone was immature at some point in their life. I look back at myself and cringe at some of the things i said to my parents / friends when I was 21.

can you imagine trying to lead an NFL team?

This IS what makes you a fan of someone…someone who figures it out and does good….and passes what he learned on to someone esle.

good for you Vince

if people can change for the better,

then maybe your perception of those people should be better.

Why don't you

back up what you said and answer my question, Joy Kat?

i see you have replaced your photo

with a vacation shot!

Unlikely to see the playoffs this year, but miracles do happen sometimes.

To VY, he didn’t exhibit one of my favorite player personalities even during his rookie year (struck me as somewhat spoiled), but if they are playing for my team I’m rooting for them, even in the extreme case of he-who-shall-not-be-named. I’m watching these guys play football, not inviting them to my house for dinner.

That said, though, VY has improved his play dramatically, and there’s no way that happened from him sitting around and pouting for a year. He must have been working at it. So kudos to him, and I sure hope we have a lot of good years with him as our franchise QB.

Not to rag on you BUT
I was so upset that I could not watch football for about a month after that.

After the Titans loss, there was no football after a month…the season was over.

I know.....

I am fairly new to posting here, but I have been a lurker (perv) for a long time. Does this woman have a real opipnion or just contradict herself all the time to avoid the shitstorm? Or just have a real need for attention. I can’t figure it out. HATES VY LOVES Collins, now never wants to see him on the field. Stick to your guns about something for god’s sake.

Happy Holidays, if I don’t post for a few days, I am vacationing in Haiti. :P
