A Titans fan wearing an Oilers jersey for a game in Houston
will REALLY piss fans off.

i live in houston
but doubt I go to the game
I went last year….there were a ton of titans fans….most of us sat in the corner where the titans locker room entrance is……
but the loss was an embarrasment….and the texan fans feel like that kid in the playground that gets picked on all the time, so once the titans missed that 4th down conversion fly pattern to gage (dumbest call ever….we should have kicked the FG…the wind wasn’t blowing like Fish claims), all the texan fans started turning around and taunting and cussing at all the titan fans…..
this year could be ugly in the stands……you can just hear the hate these little texan fans have for the titans….
plus we have spent too much money this fall and we are broke, so I’ll just watch from home instead of going to the game…..
i hope vince kills it again…..that OT run his rookie year was one of the best titan moments this decade….

I wouldn’t wear enemy colors in any visiting stadium.
I did wear my Oiler jerseys in Indy 3 straight years (1992, 1993, & 1994) and it was okay the first 2 times. But in 1994, the Indy fans were pretty nasty to me after the game, which the Oilers got crushed in.
Nowadays, if I ever were to go to Indy for another Colts-Titans game, I’d never wear my Titans stuff. Getting assaulted 800 miles away from home by a huge mob of people ain’t how I’d want to spend my vacation. Besides, I am much too old now to get into brawls anymore…
I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...

i loving weaing my colors!
i know u take abuse but its kinda the fun of it unless it turns violent! i live in rochester, ny so i go to all the bills-titans games, and take alot of shit from those god awful ppl, especially the the comeback game that one sucked, but i figure ill have some ppl with me and we should be allright

People might hurl insults at you, but that's about all they will throw at Reliant.
I have never seen an opposing fan assaulted in reliant before. Has it happened? I’m sure people get drunk and fight, but I have never seen a “mob” of fans attack anyone there.
Texans fans get rowdy, but not violent.

There are Texans fans that come to LP Field every year
and wear their jerseys and funny hats. The people that sit next to us told me they come every year and sit in the same seats. (Shows how observant I am. I never noticed them until this year.) Everyone treated them good, but they weren’t being obnoxious belligerent loud mouths either. Those are the kind that get the treatment.

I go to the TNT game EVERY year, and it's awesome!
I was there for the VY OT run in ‘06, and the record day for Rob Bironas, to name a few, but each year, its gotten chippier in Reliant. I get taunts of “traitor” and the like, but for the most part, Houston fans just want to have a good time. Got my tix on the 20 this year, and you know the Texan fans are gonna be rockin for MNF. I’ll be there showing the Titans colors, roaring right along with the rest of us!

i try to go to.....
as many games as i can when the titans come to town, i too was there when VY ran it in on the texans in OT, and couldnt have been more satisfied as i was sitting on the side where he ran it in. first game back home for VY and he did not disappoint. i was out of my chair yelling at the top of my lungs before Vince even made it to the 10 yrd line, i knew he was gone as soon as he turned on the jets.
the fans are good here, theres the ones that will talk football with you and then of course theres the die hards that despise the titans fans. its gets real good sometimes, but it sucks when were on the losing end, like when i went last year. then again i knew there was that chance of us losing with KC when i went last year, its just not the same type of game here in houston if VY isnt under center. as for this year i didnt the tix in time as they tend to sell fast, but still on the lookout, last year i wore my VY pro bowl jersey. but that will forever be in the vault ever since he signed it, i too am thinking of my earl campbell jersey, but in the light of things. i think i will wear my dark blue VY, as this game has just moved up to another level w/ Vince back at the helm. especially on MONDAY NIGHT! all i can say is, dont come a knockin!
"Waiting for the return of the Mac"
"Let VY loose, give him the chance to play his heart out. for himself, for the titans...and for mcnair"
"Titans & Texans fan, dont bug me w/your petty b.s., life's confusing enough."

My wife can't understand....
why I still follow the Titans. She says, “but their NOT the Oilers anymore, heck, they’re not even in Texas anymore”. So I told her, "well honey, if you changed your name…I would still LOVE you!!

I will actually be in Texas for a wedding during this game.
San Antonio, but still.
