Tennessee Titans vs. San Francisco 49ers Series at a Glance
Not a lot of history between these two seeing that they are in different conferences. The 49ers lead the all-time series 7-4. The Titans won the last meeting 33-22 in the forgettable 2005 season. (As a side note; Steve McNair had 343 passing yards and 3 TDs in that game.)
The last time the Titans played in San Francisco was 1999 in a game won by the 9ers 24-22. (The Titans failed on a 2-point conversion late) Click on that link and look at the Titans offensive numbers from that day. Pretty funny stuff.
We will be treated to the broadcast duo of Ian Eagle and Rich Gannon for this late start on CBS.

Bring on the 49ers!!
Don’t let the 49ers 3-4 record fool you. They’re good. But they’re not great. Major concern…Frank Gore rushed for over 200 yds in week 2 against Seattle. If our defense tackles like they did last week…we could be in trouble! I do think that our offense (that’s last week’s offense to be exact) can put more points on the board than theirs. Remember the keys from last week…RUN….RUN….RUN…and if you do pass, just dump it off to CJ or the TE…but don’t forget about Britt, I really think he could be our Miles Austin!! P.S. Oh yeah….hey D…you guys BETTER bring it!!!

Niner's D is tough
We will have to build on last weeks performance. O has gotta protect the ball and take what is there. P Willis is the BOMB. Still this is a winnable game, a stepping stone to getting back on track. Special teams play will be the key.

Speaking of that '99 game
I think that was the last game the 49ers won that year. That was two clubs going in opposite directions.
