Is 10-6 Possible?
Let's just take a moment to think about how nice it would be to finish 10-6, wild-card team, Superbowl Champions (seems like Wild-Card teams always win!)... take a moment.... ahhh isn't that nice?!
Now don't think i'm overreacting about the Titans winning one game. I've been saying we could go 10-6 since we got stomped by the Pats. Imagine if we won those first 3 close games, that would of been nice. But back to the present.
Remanding Schedule:
@ 49ers
vs Bills
@ Texans
vs Cards
@ Colts
vs Rams
vs Dolphins
vs Chargers
@ Seahawks
That's not an easy schedule... at all. But we can do it! Our secondary is finally getting it together. Finnegan and Fuller are back. Rod Hood looks sharp, better than Harper! Mouton and McCourty have alot of exp. now especially after starting a few games. The Front 7 has improved, KVB finally got a sack. Bulluck/Tulloch look better, Hayes/Jones as well. We did give up way to much yards to MJD, he's a good RB but that was horrible by us. Let's get it going D!
As for offense... now I was a supporter of KC, was that a mistake or what?! Vince Young looked amazing out there Sunday, going 15 for 18 not doing any stupid passes, hes matured! If Vince plays this well every week we'll be set. Not to mention we have the best RB in the league [minus AP]. LenDale hasn't got it goin'... yet. And the passing core is looking better, Washington, Britt, Gage, and Scaife are starting to roll now.
Honestly our defense will decide our record. When they make stops and we get ahead (by running) that's when we win. When were down and try to play catchup (by passing) we never catchup.
10-6 were coming for you...

love the enthusiasm, but you're forgetting that
we pretty bad on the west coast,
peyton’s having the season of his life, and
we never beat the chargers
there’s no way this team pulls out 9 strait.

As unpredictably stupefying as this season has been already
who knows what’s possible… 8 weeks ago I’d have said 0-6 was impossible.

You stole the words out of my mouth
At this point anything is possible, highly unlikely but possible. I would have to say that we finish some where around 9-7 or 8-8 which with the start of the season would be a respectful finish. The bad thing is 8-8 or 9-7 more than likely wont make the playoffs in the AFC.
Looking at the schedule I think we can beat all the teams if we play perfect football. The games I would be most worried about are the Colts and Cards, with their passing attack since we have not been able to put pressure on QB’s like we need to and our seconday is still a question mark though they look 10% better.
Over all I hope your right “Here goes the run for 10-6”

Anything is possible..
Last year we went 10-0 with KC as QB. We have a very motivated Vince (at least for $$ if for nothing else), a pissed off defense, and a coach on the verge of losing his job..not to mention Chris Johnson, Lendale (In a contract year), and some good talent at TE and WR (Mainly Britt).
We are a team with nothing to lose.
Is it possible? Yes indeed.
Is it probable? No.
I would be pretty damn happy with an 8-8 season after starting 0-6. Lets get to 6-6 before we talk 10-6.

10-6...?
If the team plays the rest of the season as well (or better) as they did Sunday, it’s certainly possible, but I can’t see it happening yet.
Even if we were able to pull off such a run, the playoffs would still be out of reach. We’ve lost too many conference and divisional games, so I think any tie-breakers are gone.

I'm thinking 6-10 at the least, 9-7 at the most
Would think that you could put Buffalo, Houston, St. Louis, Miami, and Seattle in the solid W column.
I’m torn about San Franciso – I’m listing that as an L, but I wouldn’t be surprised if we got the W.
Colts stumbled a bit last weekend, but I would count it as a solid L.
Arizona? Scared about their passing game vs. our defense…Can we get to Warner enough to make him sweat? Could go either way here, but counting it as an L
San Diego? You never know which team of theirs will show up…Could go either way here, but the Chargers play well late in the season, so I’d count it as an L for now.

I think..
When we play like we’re supposed to, we are as good, if not better than, any of those teams.
On paper, we have an elite team..whether that translates on the field week in and week out remains to be seen.

who exactly have the colts beaten?
Jax barely?
Dolphins barely?
Cardinals who just got beat by Panthers?
Seahawks?
Titans with KC and Injured 2ndary?
Rams?
49ers barely?
Ummm..yea..until they play a QUALITY team, you can’t say they are better than a HEALTHY Titans team under VY.
Colts will win the division, that’s for sure, but they will be exposed in the next 6 games.
And stop being such a pessimist.

I am just as happy VY had a good game but that is all it was is one good game. Lets not go thinking he is the savior just yet. I too hope and wish for the best but if we win that game there will have to be a lot more things that come together than just a team led by VY.
I just don not think we can let ourselves have a false sense of security that all is ok under VY, if he has a string of games like that than maybe but not after just one game

I agree, hes not our savior just yet..time will tell, but...
..I just see a different Vince out there. I know its only 1 game and the SF game should give us a better idea, but there was just something different with him. More confidence? Something to prove? Whatever it is, its good for him and good for the team.
We’ll see what happens on Sunday.

If the Titans win this week, then I'll believe...
…that 8-8 or 9-7 are reasonable possibilities. I do not think 10-6 is reasonable at all, however. The Colts look like World-Beaters, and in fact, if there are only two good teams in the League (and that’s what it looks like right now), those teams are the Colts and the Saints. At this point, you’d have to say that that’s most likely your Super Bowl.
With that said, save for the Colts game, I’d say this game this week is probably the toughest game on the schedule. Which is why I’ll be prepared to believe if they win, but I’ll be skeptical until they beat a team that isn’t demonstrably terrible.

Considering this teams past history...
they either win alot of games in a row, or lose alot. So, yeah, I think it’s possible, now that they have won one. But the key to doing this is to take it one game at a time. Let’s focus on SF now, get a win, and then go on to next game, etc. Remember… inch by inch…anything’s a sinch. Yard by hard…it can be very hard.

Ten straight is a tall order…
… I know they did it last year but if a 10 game winning streak was “easy”, it would be done all the time…
I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...
