Ask Revenge Of the Birds
Hello Music City Miracles, Andrew from Revenge Of The Birds here to discuss all things Cardinals. If you have any questions feel free to ask and I or anyone from ROTB will answer. Just to touch base, we started the season inconsistent but have started to gel lately and have won 6 out of the last 7 games. Kurt Warner suffered a blow to the head last week and missed the second half. He said it was for cautionary reasons and most of us expect him to play this Sunday. If anyone here can do the same Q n A at ROTB, I know a lot of us have questions about the Titans. Have a good Thanksgiving guys.

I'll start it off. I know you guys will be better than the blog that we must not speak of.
Your run D has tapered off during the last few weeks. Why is that? How do you expect Chris Johnson and Vince Young to do?
Also, do you think this is a better team than last year’s NFC champs?

Are we officially blogcotting the blog we must not speak of?

which blog is this you guys are talking about?
What? I didn't break it, I was just testing its durability, and then I placed it in the woods becuase it's made out of wood and I just thought he should be with his family.

Battle Red Blog
Don’t even bother going there. And yes, blogcott is on.

Ah I see
We dealt with them earlier in the year, didn’t seem so bad.

The running game has improved from the competition we've faced for one
But we played some bad teams last year and couldnt run. This year the Cardinals are actually handing off the ball more, but another huge reason is the addition of Beanie Wells. The guy is a monster as long has he can hold onto the ball.
I would expect Vince Young to run for first downs like always, but watch out for Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. He’s a ball hawk and if Vince puts one up it might get picked off. I would expect Johnson to run wild, no lie.
This team is by far better then last years team due to the added running game, but a very improved defense as well. oh and they can actually win on the road.

Do you expect the Cardinal receivers to have a big day?
Our secondary (Griffin and Harper, mostly) has been having trouble. Is this a feast waiting to happen or has the passing game regressed since last year?

It has regressed but its considerably better on the road
Plus the Cardinals have come on lately. I would say if Warner plays, they’ll have a big game, if Leinart plays, they won’t

Pressure Pressure Pressure
As long as we can apply pressure to Warner and disrupt the pocket – it will be a long day for the Cards.
Reference : Carolina Panthers game … sidenote: Julius Peppers.

The Cardinals got down 28-7 very early in the first half against the Panthers
The only reason the Panthers had success was because the Cardinals were forced to abandon the run. And the Panthers only had 2 sacks, with Peppers having one. If you’re implying that Kurt Warner will throw 5 interceptions because of pressure, then you obviously have never seen Warner play. He’s better when teams send the blitz his way.

Oh I forgot
How often peppers comes on the blitz- amd
that sacks were the only thong that illustrate pressure on a qb ( pressured, knock down, general in pocket collapses) but you’re right… Kurt Warner.. One of the most accurate passers in football over the last decade…threw 5 picks just because his hands were wet?
And because your in the NFC I’ll let u slide… The titans are in the top five for least amount of blitz’s ran… Here comes the Dave ball pain train baby.

Do you have any new pictures of Brenda Warner?
We have a reader here at MCM who is all about her.

Isn't it a better decision for the Cardinals to sit Warner this week and let Leinart start?
Warner just had a concussion last game, the Cardinals are leading their division by two games (?), and they are a playing a non conference game. The Titans D-line will put him on the ground a couple of times, for sure, so why take the chance of him getting hurt further and sit out a couple of conference games?
What is wrong with the Cardinal’s running game? Is it the O-line or the RBs?
