fire jeff fisher??

for all of u that want or wanted jeff fisher fired do u still  feel that way? now obviously were not out of the woods yet at 3-6, but damn doesnt it feel good. we knew we were primed for a late season run and jeff is the guy to lead us, been a fan of this team my whole life and he was promoted to HC when i was 7 and i wouldnt want any other coach to lead us. we got a good thing goin, playoffs or not these last 3 weeks have been fun and lets ride this as long as it will go, big one this monday night, the old oilers goin back to houston, they beat us twice in a row, vince goin back, the big fight last time, this has the makings to be the best MNF game this yr and what a better time to showcase our team and this feeling the titans and our fans have goin, any way if our team cant get up for this, then idk what can, but any way jeff fisher will bring the intensity that is needed GO OILERS/TITANS!!!!!

Jeff

does not need to be fired…

Yes it was on him alot about our 0-6 start, but I just don’t see how firing him now or later on in the season would make it better for the Titans organization…

Who the hell would we replace him with, that is better?

that's the only reason that i disagree with firing him

i like fisher as much as the next guy, but i’m seriously ready for a complete regime change. call me crazy but i think we could do a whole lot more on offense if we just had better coaching. then again it could also backfire on us and we could be one of those teams that is a rebuilder team every year. either way finding his replacement is tough, either now or later.

Sorry, I don’t wany to spend the next 20 years fluttering with bad years and .500 years, waiting for the occasional year we finally piece together the #1 defense in the NFL and go 13-3 – only to have an early playoff exit because we undervalue the QB position in a QB era, and because the Head Coach goes from Conservative in the regular season to hyper-mega-ultra-super-duper Conservative in the playoffs. Learn the Schottenheimer lesson before we’re 20 years older and just as title-less.

I really don’t feel like going through this for the next twenty years because “who will we ever replace him with who’s better?”

We’ll never find out if we never try.

Let’s move one.

Who does?

But, I also don’t want to spend a decade or more looking for a winning coach either. Like the Browns, Lions, Bills, and Redskins. I’d rather win games and make the playoffs every other year, than have a team in chaos EVERY year.

I'll wait till the end of the season.

I love Fisher, but I’ve called for his head this season. Bunch of no-brain moves and strategies that backfired on him the first 6 weeks. HOWEVER, I like what he’s finally done the past few weeks, he’s still the head coach and somehow he’s got the Titans and Fans believing in another 10-0 season (Weeks 1-6 were preseason games and i don’t care what anyone says) despite the fact they started 0-6. 0-6 People!!!!!!!!

That’s more than enough reason for a lot of players to give up on the season, but he has them scratching and clawing and flying to the ball like every game is the Superbowl.

He looked very unhealthy and tired to start the season, but it seems like something has clicked in and he sees the light. Maybe it was McNair’s passing, maybe he had family problems and wasn’t focused, whatever it was..it looks to be in the past now.

We got 7 more wins to go. The key is when we get into the playoffs..if we go through another 1 and done, then yes..oust his ass..until then, GO FISH!

I think Vince Young was devastated with McNairs passing. I think he saw our team was in serious trouble, and he will do whatever it takes to keep McNairs legacy to the Titans alive. He plays with heart. I think thats why he took McNairs advice to “Never Look Back”. Coach Fisher has got to feel this too. I think they are definitely on the right track!
