Helmetst_medium

The Titans are 11-4 in the regular season against the Texans.  The Titans have never played the Texans in the postseason.  The Titans are 5-2 in Houston, and Jeff Fisher is 5-2 against Gary Kubiak.

Vince Young has made one start in Houston.  You might remember it because of this:

In case you didn't know, this is the Monday Night Football game so the broadcast will be handled by Mike Tirico, Ron Jaworski and Jon Gruden.

Info from the NFL release and a plea to each of you here after the jump.

Now for my plea- I know that the rivalry between these two teams is really intense because of the history and all that, but let's not let ourselves get caught up in all of the crap that comes with that.  I understand there is going to be trash talking and that is fine with me, but please try to stay away from the name calling and all of that crap that tends to happen.  We have a great site here, and I hate to see it go in the crapper just because of a few bad eggs.  Thank you.  That is all.

This is a huge game for us

on several dimensions. I’m nervous, anxious, and fired-up. Is it Monday yet?

No reason to be nervous, JimR.....

WE GOT THIS!!! Question is….how many “texan trolls” are going to come on here after we kick their A$$ so we can rub it in their faces?

I hate it when the Titans say, "We got this."

They said that crap last year duriing the playoff game, in fact Alge Crumpler specifically said it in an interview, and that was just straight-up irresponsible. Damned Alge Crumpler.

Wonder if the stat gurus could help out

How have the Titans done against opposing TEs?

Houston has (in my opinion) one of the most underrated TEs in all the league in Owen Daniels, and with him out, I wonder how that changes the dynamic on defense.

Can’t wait for this one- it’s gonna be exciting!

Except Owen Daniels is on IR

which sucks because even as a Titans fan I hate to see such a good player go down (plus he was my tight end in FF).

I don’t think either team can say this ones in the bag. I do think Titans take it in a rough game. They usually find a way to steal it from Houston at the end.

BTW.....

watched the film on the Bengals game…had to know how they swept the Steelers….when they had a lead at the end of the game….instead of playing prevent….they BROUGHT THE HOUSE!!! And P-L-E-A-S-E…let this be lesson for us….DITCH THE PREVENT!! cause all it does is prevent you from winning!
