There is an interview by Rachel Nichols with Ray Lewis, ESPN will probably air the whole thing on Countdown tomorrow night, that (i hate to say it) makes me almost respect Lewis. He talks about how he calls Steve McNair's mother before every game. I've truly hated him as a player, the ravens as a team since the 2001 season. But the fact that he does that for my favorite sports figure of all time, makes it hard not to at least respect him more.

Very respectable move from Ray
he knew Steve as an opponent and a teammate, and this just goes to further show the kind of impact Steve had on the people around him.
