Tennessee Titans promote WR Dominique Edison to active roster
Wide receiver Dominique Edison was promoted from the practice squad to play on Sunday against the Bills. This move comes after Justin Gage broke his back last week against the 49ers. Edison had a very good showing in the preseason, so when he was moved to the practice squad earlier this season, it was a great surprise.
Offensive lineman Fernando Velasco was released to make space for Edison. It seems that there is a good chance that David Stewart will be back playing against Buffalo since Velasco was promoted last week for depth on the offensive line.

Hooray!
Up until this week, I actually thought Edison was already on the active roster and had been wondering why we hadn’t seen him. He had a brilliant game during preseason, and I hope he gets some playing time during the remainder of this season.

Injuries in football
Justin Gage broke his back on a play where he immediately jumped up and chest bumbed a teamate. The adrenaline that drives NFL players to fight through their injuries……. wow
Thinking of my brother who played center on a high school perrenial power house at (6-1 205) makes me think of his stories of mangled fingers and back injuries just to make it through the season. My breother still has spinal problems. (at 22 yrs old)
it is great to see Edison get a chance. I just recall watching Gage’s play and how he jumped right back up. The fact that he really put his body on the line to catch an important pass, shows that Justin Gage had not given up on his team. I hope is injury is not too serious
He broke his back!

I’m happy for Edison…
… now let’s hope he does some big things.
I had to stop arguing with drunks, Steeler fans, and all other fools.
It was making my brick wall jealous...
