I agree he had a bad season in 2007 but I also remember #9 not doing very good and sitting his first couple of seasons…. and if Steve McNair himself thought this kid could be somthing I would take his opinion over any of yours. Also out of all the people I see on here calling each other dumb asses I guess when you call out certain people your considered childish, maybe it was a little over the top but I just think it is funny this guy took a good 30 mins or more out of his life to edit my post.

but whos to say that VY could not have led that winning streak that same year with the defense that we had? if he finishes the game that year, yes it was bad, but they would probably still go on to win. but he doesnt finish the game, he gets hurt, who knows what would of happened if he didnt. nobody does. everybodys gonna keep going to KC’s the better passer, and he MAY be a little bit better, but the same situations dont happen if vys in the game hes going to make passes he can make(at a decent percentage himself) that year. so the logic cant be in place that “VY could not make the throws KC did”, it doesnt make any sense b/c if VY goes on that year different situations happen.

and just to add in general, no matter what VY’s legs will ALWAYS be a threat, especially when the game starts to rbecome his when he gets more playing time. All he needs is to make the necessary adjustments and he’ll be back to his college form, which was unstoppable, and a talent like that just doesnt disappear (at least not with VY, been doing it since he was at Madison). and yes more time, starting after 4 games his rookie, and his second year, and one game his 3rd thats not alot of playing time. he needs real game exp, not preseason and garbage time. hopin fish can swallow his pride and soon we’ll see VY under center.

5) Kerry Collins wasn’t bad last year. While it wasn’t unreasonable to expect him to come back from that (see SuperHorn and his several well written, well informed posts on that specific subject), but it wasn’t ridiculous to expect him to not turn the ball over as much as he has either. Sadly for the Titans and for us fans, that didn’t work out. That’s the NFL.
