Is it just me or is everyone else tired of seeing all these teams sporting their throw-back jerseys. Why are we seeing so many teams sporting them every week. I think the oiler uniforms are hideous. These style of jerseys are old for a reason. Not to mention how unlucky it has been so far. I just figured that they would be wearing them just once or twice this year. But jeez it's every week we are seeing these ugly ass uniforms.

since i don’t live in houston, my fandom followed the team to tennessee. however, this season i started reading various blogs on the team and some of the reactions from fans regarding the throwback uniforms piss me off.
to those that hate the oilers history — blame bud. he could have left houston’s history there like the browns. but you all got an instant contender and forget where it all came from.

points. yes they were. and we wear the oiler throwbacks so we are reminded of where the titans came from ppl, be grateful, if it wasnt for the oilers being founded you wouldnt be rooting for the team that you root for today. and ugly? how bout bad ass, theres a similarities to the oilers jerseys and the baby blues that we wear on the field. know your roots.

But that doesn’t mean we have to like it.
They should have left that Houston stuff in Houston. It’s a slap in the face to that Community and fans, and I for one don’t like em cause I was not a Oiler fan.

“no bud adams made it possible”. yeah, but bud WANTED to keep the team in houston, we just couldnt come up with the dough, and tennesee could. which was possible ya dont have a MLB team, ya dont have a NBA team, ya didnt have a NFL team. so of course ya had the money to move the team, something Mr. Adams did not want to do in the first place but thats what it came down to.

how is he talking shit? he has his opinion. i’m not an oiler fan either. does that mean i’m talking shit for posting this blog altogether. oilers sucked and other than their first year and last year the titans have too. but i’m still a fan of them cuz i live her asshole. and for your info tennessee does have an nba team jackass. try the memphis grizzlies. they may suck but they are still a team.

I like my Titan jerseys better, though.

stop right there mister !!! as a kid growing up in the 80s i was a oiler fan ..and had alot of good and bad memorys of the oiler teams.. warren moon ,lorenzo white haywood jerffireies , gary brown, all those run and shoot offense teams that used to send 7-10 players to the pro bowl.. i rememeber the greatest comeback. the lil version of the drive up in mile high vs john elway… and even the year we also had homefield advantage in the playoffs ,to me that was one of our best teams and we had buddy ryan running our defense … but we ended up losing to Joe Montana and the Chiefs !! yes mostly bad memorys but shit as a kid crying punching thro my closet walls cause we lose a heart breaker.. was but watching that group of oilers during my child hood was awsome !! and even tho its the 60s oiler uniforms to see that oil rig on a baby blu helmet on a 65 inch HD tv was a treat then so im all for the uniform … and new titan fans need to suck it the fuck up .. that oiler history is apart of ur titans suck it up.. houston gave up thier rights .. wanted nuthign to do with it..so bud adams claim the history and brought it over here.. COME ON CANT U SEE THE SAME COLORS ON UR TITANS UNIFORMS !!! YES BUD ADAMS KEPT THE SAME COLORS FROM THE OILERS !!! if its a slap in the face maybe u should find another team… cause you have a huge texas fan base due to the transfer .. the city of houston didnit want to build the oilers so here we are in TN~~suck it up us grown folks love the oiler uniforms

my comments were in good fun because we I think we all need a laugh. As for roots I for one am keenly aware of this teams roots and only wish for the best.

So far we haven't lost
in the blue throwbacks. So as long as we have another good game against Buffalo in them later this year, they could keep those as the new alternates going forward.
Those white ones need to be burned. Immediately.
