(paraphrased) When you are up a lot or down a lot, you put in the backup quarterback to see what he's capable of. We were down 22, so that was the case here.

Yep
Vince had his chance and blew it, so now it’s time to turn the reins back over to Collins.

Hopefully this was a sarcastic comment...

Yes, I was kidding but I don't think Fisher is
I’m assuming Collins will start against NE, but we might see Vince earlier in that game if Collins starts badly.

This does not make sense
According to his logic, VY should have played last week when they were down 27 points- yet he said the thought never crossed his mind. I think VY going in tonight may have had something to do with all the boos and the “we want Vince” chanting.

Fisher seems like a coach who would not
let fans influence his decisions, but I don’t have a better explanation for the inconsistencies, either. So, who knows?

Excuse my French
but Jeff Fisher is really starting to piss me off

Well, contrary to what I thought just
two weeks ago, I am beginning to think we need to trade for a whole new team. Almost no one seems to be playing very well. What the heck happened here? How did all the wheels come off so quickly? You can’t pin this on just the QB or any other one player or phase of the game. It’s a team-wide decline.

I agree...
the only people that can possibly be responsible for the team as a whole playing so poorly are the coaches.

So Fisher gives Vince two series
to see “what he’s capable of” and one of those series he’s told to just hand it off?
If you believe this spin from Fisher I’ve got some beautiful swampland to sell you.

I think Fisher is already working on his next coaching job.
I’ve always felt he would be the coach if Los Angeles got a new team.
I really, really believe this will be his last year whether he’s fired or resigns.

I think it's evident to everyone Fisher is in a state of denial
There’s no way to turn this thing around with people living in denial.
We have to admit first that we suck and then communicate a specific plan on how we’re going to turn things around.
The same old rhetoric is not going to get it, Mr. Fisher.

You put in the backup quarterback to see what he's capable of
Yup.
Anybody who thinks or thought that Fisher put in VY because he thought we had a chance is deluding himself. VY was in because the game was completely outta reach, not because he thought VY could do anything.
Whether or not his being able to do anything about it is debatable, especially considering when the switch was finally made, but it’s going to be more of the same it seems- KC’s ineffectual throwing because our offensive coordinator and head coach have apparently LOST THEIR DAMNED MINDS and refuse to run the ball with LenDale.
