(on coaching Mark Jones on punt returns after practice)
You just referred to me as coach and that is what I was doing, I was coaching.
(on how often he coaches players one-on-one)
Well, not often. But a lot of it takes place inside too. When you have a question, you want to give an answer.
(on if Mark Jones is picking up where he left off during training camp)
Yeah, he’s not having any problems with it. He’s doing well.
(on what Mark Jones’ question was)
Just some specifics about the catch, that’s all, catching the punt. How to catch it behind his back.
Well, we know where Fisher's focus is this week.

I bet the house that this question came from Gary Estwick.

Quick poll:
Does anybody else think we got one of the best rookie WRs this year? I mean he might not be the best WR out of this class career wise, but right out of the box he seems to be having the most impact out of any of the frosh WRs.
I think an argument could be made for Percy Harvin too, but I think mentally, Britt tops him. Britt might not be as explosive, but he runs a pretty crisp route that might be better than anyone other rookie WR.

I"ve been very happy with Britt's performance so far
and he could really explode as the season moves on and he gets more comfortable out there.
My dream scenario would be that by week 11-12 he’s starting with Gage on the outside and Washington can move into the slot where he looks more comfortable.

Agreed. Britt has been doing what he has to do in games.
I think hes been a more reliable catcher than any other WR. Shame he hasn’t gotten the TD he deserves yet.

Britt vs Harvin
Harvin: 12 catches, 128 yds, 2 TDs
Britt: 10 catches, 166 yds, 0 TDs
Harvin also has 5 rushes for 28 yards. While Harvin is generally the more explosive and versatile of the two, I think Britt is going to be an excellent possession receiver: 6’3" 218 is beefy like Boldin with 2 extra inches.
I like Britt for years to come, but I think he and Harvin have different styles and are difficult to compare directly.
I am so glad there is a lot of emphasis being put on a return guy this week.
Now, the defense is back to playing good, we have good receivers, K.C. should play ok. I am just worried some other thing is going to crop up. I really hope not.
