Marching Bands in Professional Football?
Seriously? A marching band? With flag girls and everything? I noticed this earlier in the year but didn't quite believe it was an every game affair.
I'd hate to know what goes on at Baltimore Ravens Band Camp... ooops. Best not make fun of them because I'm sure they've done charity work somewhere down the line and you can't make fun of anyone who has ever done charity work.
There's less than 24 hours to kick-off, so lets start getting pumped! I won't be around for the game tomorrow, mainly because I'll be there.
So, if you see a balding guy in two toned blue rush the field at some point, then you'll know they didn't find the flask full of George Dickle in my boot and the ushers aren't as quick as they need to be!

As a black college [HBCU] student of
FAMU [Florida A&M University] fame. Look up the Marching 100, we’ve played in the Superbowl, the grammys, Obamas upcoming inauguration parade the band will be in.
What im saying is iif the band is good, it enhances the game experience 10fold, I can say the ravens band isnt that caliber, but if you ever go to a battle of the bands or something, its fun as hell.

I've been lucky enough to see the FAMU band in person
and let me just say that they’re so far beyond what 98% of all other college bands are doing it isn’t even comparable. I’m not a fan of marching bands unless they’re on that level, really.
Where I was raised 2 + 2 = 3rd and 6.

mmmm dickel.....
the titans should just co-opt TSU’s band, they kill. i think it’s a fair exchange for letting them use the field for home games.

The Ravens Band (Colts) has been around for almost 60 years and never missed a game. They are the largest band in the nation. Band Camp? if you only knew..I had to sit behind the band at old memorial Stadium and the clarinet girl was hooking up with the trumpet dude who was pissed because the fat tuba guy flirted with her during games..there were long moments of silence amongst the three…our section did enjoy lobbing peanuts into the tuba however.

The "Marching Ravens"
were the old Baltimore Colts Marching Band, that didn’t move to Indianapolis and stayed active for the entire time we were without football. They obviously became the “Marching Ravens” when we finally got another team. Their music is pretty decent for a marching band. They certainly do not look like a college band, such as Grambling’s incredible group, but they are a ton of fun to watch, laugh at when they try to twirl those baton’s , it’s hilarious. But to mock them by an enemy team’s fans….well you better not stomp on our towel!
