Top Ten Reasons the Colts loss to the Chargers is fun for everyone
A few days have now passed since the Colts fell to the Chargers at Qualcomm, and i thought I would take the opportunity to have a little fun with it.
Please feel free to add to the list!
10. Peyton Manning will now have more time to enjoy his MVP Award from the comfort of his own couch
9. We all got to see a midget accumulate well over 300 yards against the Colts Defense and special teams.
8. Tony Dungy was thoughtful enough to move his playoff record to below .500, finally putting to rest any suggestion/debate that he might be a great coach.
7. We got to see the "Manning face", repeatedly. If you don't know the face I'm talking about, then see www.manningface.com
6. Having lost at home to the Chargers in last year's playoffs, the Colts finally had the pleasure of getting knocked out by the Chargers in sunny San Diego!
5. It came about ten days late, but BigBlueShoe finally got precisely what he deserved for Christmas.
4. Marvin Harrison can now retire and resume his true life's work... gay porn. (I mean come on...just look at that 'stache)
3. No more stories by an Manning-obsessed media about the overexposed quarterback "willing" his team to victory... at least until next season.
2. The Titans have officially had a better regular season and post-season than the Colts... more wins, and further in the playoffs.
And the #1 reason the Colts defeat at the hands of the Chargers is fun for everyone...?
1. The expression "one and done" can now officially be changed to "one and dungy"

Very good stuff.
I was talking to my brother about people saying the Colts were “the team no one wants to play.” And I thought you know what? Thats true. If your playing the Colts right now…..that means your seasons over. Good one about Marvin Harrison.

So if the Titans lose this week Jeff Fisher is offically a bad coach
he’s 5-5 in the playoffs

not commenting on Beans' comment because I didn't write it and he's a big boy
but seriously: you guys have to understand at some point that the phrase ‘not great’, or ‘less than great’ or ‘might not be great’ is nowhere near ‘bad’.

I would disagree
but it certainly wouldn’t be a bright spot on his resume. Of course he hasn’t had 12 win teams like clockwork for the past however many years either (Floyd Reese’s draft picks and bad cap maangement didn’t give him the kind of talent Polian was plucking there for a while), and only has 2 one and done showings…
Dungy does have a ring though, and nobody’s taking that away from him.

learn to count more good
Fish only coached 6 games in 1994 (hard to blame not making the playoffs on him there) and we haven’t played a playoff game yet. That makes 8 non-playoff years.
But anyways, nobody contradicted the idea that Dungy is a great regular season coach. Maybe the best ever…

I have one thing to say to that.
At least the Colts don’t practice in “Deliverance” country.

I’d much rather live in a place that had its priorities straight.
I just thought if I said “well, your team sucks and you’re a big, fat, stupid head” would be ignored. :)

Great website!
I still like Peyton The Actor. I saw him in a skit on SNL that was a parody of the nfl community commercials. He was hitting the kids in the head with footballs, insulting them and tried to break into a car. One of the funniest things I’ve seen recently. And that “take a hike” in San Diego IS priceless.
oh – and the Indiana cultural snob line ranks right up there too!

Sorry.
From CA, not Indiana.
Did you by chance see the Peyton basketball half-time skit on SNL? It’s a classic.

yeah we got screwed on the delay of game penalty, maybe acouple of others, it happens
but did jimmy write about how it’s was a freaking tv network conspiracy?
is there a story with 187 comments wailing and bitching about how victimized the titans were?
no, almost everyone on here has owned up to the fact that the titans just didn’t get it done.
please shake, you are smarter than that. don’t be intentionally stupid when you already know what i’m talking about.

Top 10 reasons you're an idiot
Good luck in the offseason. Good L.T. impression by Chris Johnson though. Next time you might want to wait until after a one and done playoff to bash the team that’s dominated the AFC South for the majority of this decade.
By the way, officially the WC losing to the 4th seed is better than the 1 seed losing to the 6th. Congratulations.
