Tale of a Titan
via deadspin.com
It would've been a greater story if we had reached and won the Superbowl. As it is he is the Comeback Player of the Year in my opinion.
Kerry Collins had shown this year that he is still very much capable to start and to lead a team. He may or may not be with us next season but whatever happens i want to say that i've become a fan and wish him the best.
Thanks Kerry for giving us the chance to win every game this season and to look forward to the next.

Collins reminds me
a lot of these other cases where the QB doesn’t reach his full potential till later in his career. I think with our O-Line and his inability to move around being his only weak part in his whole repertoire he is a really good fit for us again next year.

I really feel
like I’ve done a complete 180 in this situation… I was begging to never see Collins again after Vince took the job. I just see now how Collins can make every throw on the field, and he seems really comfortable in Dinger’s system.

would Collins to Boldin look.

It is a shame that the Titans don't have a downfield threat.
You look at what Kurt Warner did yesterday against Philly… I mean, KC could have played that game at least as well as Warner did, he just doesn’t have those weapons on the outside.
sigh
It’s frustrating to be a Titans fan.

Not to take anything away from Kerry
But, Kurt is on a different level statistically over his career. TD% (2 points higher), INT%, Rating. He’s 10 points higher in career completion percentage.
Kerry has been great at managing the offense for us. But, Kurt runs the offense in Phoenix. Tennessee can win in the absence of good QB play as we saw last year. Arizona cannot…

I think Kerry
did a little more than manage the Offense this year. It wasn’t like we were watching Dilfer out there.

Maybe a little
But I wouldn’t say he was vital to this team’s ability to get into the playoffs.
The Cardinals on the other hand, likely wouldn’t have made the playoffs without Kurt Warner, and certainly wouldn’t be playing in the Super Bowl with out him.

Fair point.

I agree
The Cards wouldn’t be where they are without Warner. But I do feel Collins ability to throw the ball got us the #1 seed in the AFC. HE was a huge part of that win in Pitt.
