Could the Titans be #1 in the Power Rankings?
Going into this week we were number 4. Number 1 and 3 lost and 2 had a bye... We should definitely be in the top 2 with the Giants, probably with the Bills or Cowboys rounding out the top 3.
I know this doesn't matter but I think it'd be nice to see us as number 1 and get some national recognition. I can't believe the Bears just held the Eagles on that goal-line stand. Great Game.

No way.
Too small a market. The Titans won’t get a LOT of national love until the guys at the NFL can figure out a way to market the team to a wider audience.

I agree with DannoE...
plus announcers don’t like defense.

Peter King
has us at #3 this morning. Since he is a Tennessee hater, I could see someone else (like maybe Dr. Z) putting us at #1. However, the Giants are still 3-0 so #2 might be the best we can expect.

In fairness, the Giants have a pretty good team.
They can do pretty much everything the Titans can do, and they have a better QB and better receivers.

D-line
is probably as good as ours, but I like our DBs better. Also, I am not sure about their O-line.

#1
They DO deserve to be #1. They are the defending champs and undefeated at that.

I dunno.
This is the same Giants team that barely scraped by with an overtime win at home against a Bengals team that we stomped all over away.

A win is a win.
The Giants came out flat against a bad team and scrambled to put the game away. It sucks to come out flat, but it happens. Good teams pull it out; bad teams drop those games.
All I’m sayiing is, so far what the Giants have done has been at least as impressive as what the Titans have done. If I’m making a list, I’m therefore putting the defending champs first.
That said, I think I might put the Titans second or third.

The Titans should be ranked in the top 4.
Look at the turnover ratio, points scored, no losses. Easily a top four team, there are better offensive teams, but can’t say that there are any better defensive teams anywhere. I am hoping for a win against the Ravens but the titans better be ready to battle, it won’t come as easy as the Vikings win did.

Well...
I figured someone would do it. SportingNews.com has us ranked #1 with the Giants at #2
