Losing Lowry a mistake

The Titans cut Safety Calvin Lowry over the weekend.  This is a huge mistake.  The Titans are giving up depth at a postion that they had great depth in.  Lowry is a great third safety and had started 11 games since being drafted by the Titans.  The Broncos are already talking about him starting by the end of the year.  The way it stands now, if Chris Hope or Michael Griffin goes down, Vincent Fuller would be the guy to fill in, which would also affect nickel packages since Fuller is currently the nickel back.  If two safeties were to go down, Donnie Nickey would have to play safety.  Nickey is nothing more than a special teams player at this point inhis career.  Nickey definitely should have been the guy cut.  This one will come back to haunt the Titans.

Who are you?

And what is this garbage you keep posting?

Lowry sucked. And he is gonna suck for the Broncos.

He's Rob Lowry.

Calvin’s brother. (No relation to Coach Alan)…

Seriously, I remember when he replaced Chris Hope last year. It was really scary, specially when Reynaldo Hill is on the same side.

Go Titans!

Well i don't think Calvin...

is as bad as some of you think… you would honestly rather have Nickey over Lowry? You gotta be kidding me

I never said I would rather have Nickey

I just don’t like this douchecanoe(thanks August) always posting these stupid negative fanposts.

I gotta go with...

TR and AM9 on this one. He’s not a bad player, and I’m surprised the Titans let him go. Of course, I’m also surprised about the Roydell situation. It seemed like he was one of the only receivers who could occasionally get decent separation last year.

Agreed...

I’ll always remember that route he and Vince connected on towards the end of last year when Vince pumped and then hit him deep for the TD.

Who's negative?

I am a huge Titan’s fan and the Lowry situation is the only thing that I have posted that has been anything close to negative. And I guess if my posts are so stupid, why do you keep commenting on them?

Alright-you got me

Maybe more missed tackles and a defensive back that couldn’t cover me on the field is what we need.

Good post.

I have to admit I'm still not sold on keeping Nickey over Lowry

of course we could have done the right thing and cut Reynaldo Hill to keep both…

Michael Roos doesn't eat pitas because NOTHING BREAKS THE POCKET ON HIS WATCH!!!
