Tennessee Titans Tackle David Stewart Undergoes Knee Surgery
As Hook em mentioned here, Big Country had some torn cartiladge in his knee and underwent an arthroscopic surgery procedure this morning. He is only expected to miss 2 weeks. Jim Wyatt says he could be back for the final preseason game, but I expect they will hold him out until the season opener September 7th against the Jaguars. Daniel Loper should get the reps with the first team in Stewart's absence.
If the Titans can escape the preseason with this being the worst injury they will be pretty lucky.

after watching the rams game i think johnson should be starting infront of lendale. lendale missed that 4th and one on the goal line. he just sat there instead of pushing his weight to hit the hole and drive somebody intot he endzone. the way i look at it johnson did just as well as lendale on the short runs and will do just as well on the short runs but when he can break one for a long run he will take it to the house. lendale will go 15 yards and soembody will catch up to him and tackle him. so might as well leave johnson in there cus theres always a chance he will take it to the house.
isnt that what lendale is supposed todo. score on the short runs? get the 4th and one or 4th and goal? that run where they stoped him on the goaline was pretty bad. he missed the hole and ran into the back of a linemen. come on man use your weight and hit that hole and make somebody feel it.
