*2007 Stats
The Titans travel to Arrowhead for the 2nd time in as many seasons. They went there last year in week 15 in a game they absolutely had to win. Vince Young had one of his best games of the season going 16-26 for 191 yards with 2 touchdowns and 0 interceptions against a tough pass defense. LenDale White carried 23 times for 95 yards.
The Titans defense was solid that day holding the Chiefs to 306 yards of total offense (217 net passing, 89 net rushing). It helped that Larry Johnson was not in uniform for that game.
This is another winnable game for the Titans. The Chiefs should be better with Brodie Croyle and Dwayne Bowe having a year under their belts and a healthy LJ. This could be another ugly game, but the Titans should come out on top to push their record to 6-0.

The thing that concerns me here Jimmy...
...is that you’re predicting a perfect season from a team that always manages to drop a winnable game because their offense couldn’t quite get it done. That was even true back in the heydey.
In fact, this team might be every bit as good as some of those heydey teams were, but it just seems like something always happens to mar the possible. A critical Chris Brown fumble or a stupid pass call on 3-4 when the team has been averaging 6 yards/carry and needs to run out the clock… I don’t know what it’s gonna be this year, but right now my money would be on a blown coverage deep by one Rey Hill.

Honestly, I'd be more than happy to "settle" for a 5-1 start.
Looking at the schedule, I’d pick either Baltimore or KC as the obvious early trap games. I mean, MN is probably the best team that the Titans play early besides the Jags, but I’d never bet on a team with no QB to run successfully on the Titans’ D-Line with Big Al in the game, and he won’t be nicked by Game 4. If the Houston game was in Houston, that’d be an early nightmare. But as it is, I think it’s either this one or Baltimore that’s the real “how’d we lose that one?” right now.

I'm going to be sick if Hill makes the 52-man roster.

He's a capable back-up. It's just that he's also MUCH worse than Nick Harper.

every time he goes on the field teams throw it right at the dude Hill is covering
because he has NO IDEA where the ball is… he can say with a WR, but they always make the catch on him, and they have for 3 years now.

He is as good as gone
Hill is not good enough to make the cut, honestly there are much better back ups around the league than him.

The Cheifs should be no problem for the Titans this season
Put the ball in the hands of Chris Johnson and let him fly. He is a speeding bullet that with the slightest seam is gone. This is also one of those games that you probably won’t see Young throwing much. He won’t need to. The dominating defense will keep the Cheifs under lock and key. I look for a 27 – 10 win for Tennessee. Go KVB and AH !
