McNair VS George
Well it is probably the slowest time of the NFL year with training camp and preseason right around the corner I thought I would pose a question everyone.
With all of the talk going on about Favre coming back and more than likely being released and every Packers fan saying "I can't picture Favre in a different uniform". It got me curious to see what hurt you guys more:
Seeing Eddie George play for the Cowboys or
Seeing Steve McNair play for the Ravens?
I know the circumstances surrounding each but it was still a shock to see them and one had to hurt more than the other to everyone.

Eddie was my favorite player then...
I wish he would’ve retired as a Titan.

And I agree with Jimmy
McNair as a Raven killed me. Still does.
George as a Cowboy hurt. But McNair went to play for Billick for Godsake!

Easy One...
McNair joining the Ravens. The hated Ravens. The Ravens team that I hate more than any other team in professional sports! Did I mention that I hate the Ravens?

George as a Cowboy.
Because he was done, and to me, that last year was basically just a mark against his dignity. McNair at least had a good season in Baltimore. He went out with more style.

Definitely Steve McNair.
Eddie’s deal didn’t make a lot of sense to me, and it hurt me to see him go.
But I almost gave up on the team after Steve went to Baltimore, I was THAT angry at the Titans that offseason. The entire drama of not paying Steve the bonus he was due, then locking Steve out of team training facilities, to the point he had to file a grievance just to be able to lift weights in the team gym, to Steve leaving for Baltimore, followed by the drama with Billy Volek being the presumptive starter, then losing the starting job to some guy OLDER THAN STEVE hired a week before the season, then Volek being traded to San Diego.
It disgusted me. Even understanding some of the team’s reasoning, it still felt like they were mistreating their players. I didn’t watch a game until after Young got the start, I just couldn’t stand the idea of Kerry Collins as the starting QB.
And the RAVENS? Of all teams, to go to the Ravens, the only team I hated more at that time was the Colts. (now the Patriots are up there as well)
Yeah, Steve’s departure was a LOT worse.
