Terry Glenn
The Cowboys just released Terry Glenn and I think it might be a good idea to bring him and work him out to see if he's healthy or not and sign him for a year. He would be a great mentor to our young recievers i think and give vince a better option in the passing game. The Titans don't really have any veteran leadership at the reciever position as it stands and he could be a great asset. If he's healthy.

Do you think he is any better than Gage or McCareins?
I don’t. Bringing him in would just further crowd an already crowded position IMO

if healthy..
he is a different breed of a receiver compared to Gage and McCareins. A solid downfield threat that would open things up for the bigger receivers we have.
If he had any value AT ALL, the Cowboys would have kept him.

Apparently Glenn wouldn't agree to a split contract to cover his injury
and that’s why they released him… that’s not quite the same as him being unable to play, but you’re right: if he was his old self they probably would have chanced it since everyone thinks they’re headed to the Super Bowl…
Glenn, who didn’t comment on his release, had asked the team to cut him several weeks ago when he refused to sign a split salary contract that would have given him $500,000 if he re-injured the knee and was lost for the season. The knee injury cost him 15 games last season.
He's David Givens, part deux.
Sure, if he was healthy, he’d be terrific. But his knees are shot. And there’s not much that can really be done about it. It’s kind’a sad, but the guy needs to get a job on SportsCenter or something.

that situation was the worst… he could have helped us a ton if his knees hadn’t imploded…
