Tennessee Titans Agree to Tender Terms with Albert Haynesworth
This is good news from the standpoint that Albert Haynesworth will be in camp from day one. It is vital that he be there to gel with all of the new guys the Titans have brought in for the defensive line.
The incentives that were agreed upon for the tender have not been released. It will be really interesting to see what the numbers are that would keep him from being franchised again next season.

I'd like to thank the Titans front office for doing their damned job.
Now lets see ya follow through and lock him up long term next year!

Would agreeing not to use the Franchise tag next year
prevent us form using the Transition tag? Would that even be applicable here?

huh
just read the tennessean article and while there are still details missing, it suggests that the deal still allows titans to franchise him next year if incentives are not met. if he meets the incentives, he wins freedom of unrestricted fa status.
