What is Wrong with Brett Favre?
So reports are coming out today that Brett Favre used a cell phone that was issued to him by the Green Bay Packers to call Minnesota Vikings head coach Brad Childress and offensive coordinator Darrell Bevell. Last week the Packers filed tampering charges against the Vikings, but both Favre and the Vikings has swept that under the rug because Favre and Bevell are friends.
How dumb does Favre have to be to make those calls from the phone the Packers gave him? You would think he has enough money to go out and buy himself a phone. He could even get one of those disposable phones and throw it away when he is done like drug dealers do.
It is time for Favre to go away. I think Goodell should ban Favre from football for life so we don't have to hear these stories anymore.

I don't know about banning him, but...
...I’m more than ready to stop talking or hearing about him.
Can we start playing football soon?

I still contend the Packers should bring him back, then change their minds and cut him a week into camp.

I think we just figured out how Jimmy paid for that trip to NY…

New news
Apparently, the Green Bay-issued phone is a myth.
Unless Green Bay is trying to cover it up; if they give an active roster player a cell phone, the value of the phone plan must be counted as part of the player’s compensation and therefore towards the salary cap. If they have been doing this and they haven’t been counting the phone bills towards player salaries, then they could be in a heap of trouble with the league.
So now they say it was Brett’s phone all along.
