Jeremy Shockey Traded to the New Orleans Saints
The New York Giants and New Orleans Saints finally hammered out a deal that sends TE Jeremy Shockey to the Saints for a 2nd and 5th round pick in next year's draft. The Saints already had a ridiculous offense, and this just makes it even better. It will be interesting to see if he will behave in NO or not.

Great move...
For both teams. The Giants are better off without Shockey’s over-inflated ego and constant distractions.
And the Saints just solidified an already potent aerial attack. Brees is the happiest guy in NO, right about now.
2nd and 5th Round picks are pretty good value too, considering it was well known the Giants needed to unload the player.

Wow.
It appears someone over at the Giants has a brain after all.
I wish New Orleans luck with him.

The Giants have probably the best GM in the League.
How else to explain last year? I mean, they won with how many rookies starting in the Superbowl?
A 2nd and a 5th is an AMAZING value for an oft-injured player who PROVED he was non-essential when his team won without him. Shockey is good, but I think the Saints will be sorry in the long run.
