Community Projections: LenDale White

The community projections series continues with LenDale White.  Here are The Round Mound's 2007 stats:

Rushes Yards TDs
303 1,110 7

It is really hard to believe that he only scored 7 touchdowns last season.  Here are my predictions for 2008 is carries, yards and touchdowns:

320, 1,290, 12

Put your predictions in the comments below.  When the comments close on each entry I will add them up and post them in a recap.

Agreed,

But, he’ll still get more TDs, now that he’s not the only threat in the red zone.

300, 950, 15

what are you serious august west and rustmeister

he played all last season on a torn meniscus put up over 1100 yards. i dont get how you can just predict someone to get hurt. i think he will get more because hes really the only power back they have now that chris brown is gone hes basically the feature back so i look for him to do more of the work and get his stats up.

my predictions are

1200 yards 12 touchdowns 3.9-4.0 yards per cary which comes out to around 300 attempts

Predictions = guesses, especially in the NFL

i dont get how you can just predict someone to get hurt.

It’s pretty easy, actually… I hope he’s healthy all the way through, but we’ll have to see if he finally comes into training camp in shape. If he doesn’t, he’ll get at least nicked again and miss some time.

Now 12 more TD's from our arting running back.

So you gave Vince 33 TD’s and LenDale 12. Thats a total of 45 from our starting running back and quarterback. Last year they had 9 and 7, a total of 16. Oh yea, then there’s Chris Johnson, our prized first round pick who will get a few TD’s of his own, maybe even Chris Henry, and of course, our defense. Now that’s ALOT of touchdowns to go around. You are saying they will almost triple that. For a team that made the playoffs last year, getting three times as many TD’s from our QB and RB would probably make us the best team…ever…? 19-0, anyone? I say he gets 280, 1100, 8. And maybe reaches double digits TD’s if our red zone offense improves.

You forgot...

...to add in Vince’s three rushing touchdowns from last year, so that is a total of 19 TDs. So that’s only a little better than twice as many touchdowns for the pair of them. That doesn’t sound nearly as improbable, does it?

OK OK

I did forget that. But still, that is alot of ground to make up.

More carries, more yards, same TDs.

330, 1200, 7.
