*2007 Stats
The Houston Texans and Titans always play tight games. The most entertaining/frustrating game of last season was the Rob Bironas game. The second game was one of Vince Young's best performances in 2007. He finished the game 21-31 for 248 yards with 2 touchdowns and 1 interception. He also rushed for 44 yards on 5 carries.
No one is looking forward to these games less than Matt Schaub who was knocked out of both meetings last season. On the flip side, no one is looking more forward to these games than his backup Sage Rosenfels. He was 39-65 for 475 yards and 5 touchdowns with 4 interceptions. He might end up in the Hall of Fame if he played against the Titans every week.
I expect next year's matchups to be very close as they always are. I predicted when the Titans drafted VY that he would never lose to the Texans, and so far he is making me look pretty smart. The Titans will win this week 3 matchup on late play by VY to set up a Bironas game winning field goal and push their record to 3-0.

I don't think it will require late-game heroics...
The Texans didn’t do anything notable to improve in the offseason, and in fact their run game has deteriorated with the acquisition of Chris Brown.
I don’t imagine the Texans are good for more than 7 wins this year, because they are likely to go 0-6 in the Division.

I can't think of a roster filled with more brittle players than theirs (Shaub, Brown, Green, D. Robinson, A. Johnson)...
That D-Line scares me, but they still don’t have the talent to get out of the division cellar.

Beans is right. It's (lack of) a consistent run-game that's gonna kill 'em.
Poor Matt Schaub’s gonna get crushed this year.

Steve Slaton is going to be good for them this year.
He was so good in college then just dropped off the radar in the draft. I don’t know why.
