Caught me off guard

Thought that you guys might find this interesting. I know over the last two seasons everyone has kind of freaked out about Vince and his TD passing numbers.

I was watching a video of the Miracle last night and at the beginning of the game it stated that McNair had thrown 12 Tds that year and 8 Ints. That is not far off of what VY has done. As a matter of fact, his rookie campaign he threw 12 TD's. Vince has higher INT #'s cause his decision making is not as good as Mac's was. Remember at this stage in Mac's Career he was a 5 year vet. (only throwing 12 Td's)

What I am getting at is this. Our offense is never going to put up 30 passing TD's. It is not how we are made. We are a run first team. However I do think that VY will take a LEAP forward this year and throw for about 19 TD's

Tell me what you think? How many passing TD's will VY have, and how do you feel with the comparrison to Mac?

Far as how many passing TD's VY has

I like your prediction of 19 or anywhere around the number 20 would be great IMO. Plus i know he have some on the ground.

This Year

This will be the beginning of a great career for VY! I hate to sound like everybody else but Dinger will do what he has to make VY special. Not try and make him a pocket passer. I expect about 3,000 yds 19 TDs and 4 or 5 rushing TD’s with about 500 rushing yds

hard to predict something like that id say if he gets 3000 yards he will barely notch it so im thinkin 2800 2900 possibly 3000 i would say 19 is a bit of a leap seeing as how he didnt make 10 last season with our new OC id expect his numbers to go up so im gonna say 16-18 tuddys but with the reward theres gotta be a little risk im gonna say 15 picks and abotu 450-500 rushing yards 3-5 tuddys

he's throwing 20 tds

and with the help of new mechanics he will bring the INTs down to about 9 – 11. we will not have to throw the ball that much since the running game will grind out 30 – 35 carries a game. also vince will return nicely from the quad injury that hampered his scrambling last year and return to being a 450 -500 yrds on the ground with 6 tds. most of his tds will be in the red zone where crumpler will be there as his primary target and if cump aint there he will take off to the endzone. just some random thoughts on how the stats will break down
