FOX Sports Reporting Michael Strahan to Retire from the New York Giants
Jay Glazer of FOX Sports is reporting that Michael Strahan has decided to retire after 15 seasons in the NFL.
"It was important that my teammates knew which way I was going before they got on the field to start the work to defend our title," the team's all-time sack leader said from California. "It's time. I'm done."
He retires with 141.5 career sacks including the all-time single season sack record with 22.5*. There is little doubt that Strahan will end up working in a studio for one of the major networks next season. Check in with Big Blue View for the reaction of Giants' fans.

Not gonna happen...
Why in the world would he want to leave the Giants, anyway? He finished on top and is very good in front of a camera, and he’s had a lot of years with a high-profile gig.
He did the right thing.
