Steroid Dealer Who Gave Names to the NFL Found Dead
This is a sad and intriguing story. David Jacobs, who is a convicted steroid dealer that named NFL names in a meeting with NFL brass back in May, was found dead this morning in his home in Plano, Texas. Officials headed to his house after there were concerns from the family of Amanda Jo Earhart-Savell because they hadn't heard from her in a couple of days. She was found dead in the house as well, and both of them had been shot. Police are saying that is a homicide investigation at this point. It doesn't sound like they are pursuing a murder suicide investigation, but I doubt that has been ruled out.

He was an informer
The real intrigue is that he had been working as an informer for multiple Dallas area police forces and had since stated his intention to testify against the officers to whom he had provided steroids. That’s the more interesting story. A pharmacist who publicly stated his intention to testify against NYPD officers to whom he had provided steroids was also found dead under suspicious circumstances.
There's a reason the Feds are so loathe to prosecute steroids buyers
and it’s because almost every major investigation turns up more firemen, cops and other public servants they don’t want to prosecute. It happened in the initial investigations where they were tracking baseball players.
Until we as a people and the authorities are able to take this aspect seriously, we’re not going to be able do anything to curb the epidemic of steroid use in the gyms, locker-rooms and field-houses across America.
Coroner's report
It has been determined that this was a murder-suicide. Beyond that, there are a lot of conclusions, speculations, etc. that can be drawn.
Watch out, I bite.
