I love the titans ha but i dont have a good feeling about this upcoming division schedule possible change week 17 as indy could be resting starters as was the case last season. We play a pretty weak rest of the schedule no really tough teams from the NFC a quater of our schedule is from the NFC north or i like to call it the worst division in football. also easy games against the jets, chiefs and ravens overall pretty good schedule in our terms besides our tough divisional opponents.Hopefully my predictions about getting swept by the jags and colts will be wrong the indy titans games are always close and we sometimes play good and sometimes play bad against jacksonville so its tought to predict.
Vince Young- 275 of 450 61% completion 2,900 yards 15 touchdowns 12 interceptions
120 attempts for 550 yards 7 touchdowns 4.5 ypc
I look for young to have his best career year ever getting his completion percentage up the most important getting back his rushing yards and producing more pass td's under heimerdinger.
Lendale White- 325 attempts 1300 yards 4 ypc 11 touchdowns
lendale will get more carries as the premier back hes healthy as he wasnt all last season with his meniscus more td's better yards per carry and more yards as he will get the bulk of the carries more than last season.
Chris Johnson- 95 carries 350 yards 2 touchdowns 3.6 ypc
30 receptions 250 yards 3 touchdowns 8.3 ypc
He will get the majority of the rest of the carries lendale or vince doesnt take i look for less carries with the backs as vince will use his legs more this season to open up his passing game vince will gain confidence early on by using johnson with screens to get his pass game going as this will boost his completion percent and give johnson a good amount of recieving yards and a few touchdowns
Justin Gage- 50 receptions 700 yards 4 tochdowns 14 ypc
Gage will be the number 1 going into the season he will probably see about the same stats as last season. with an increase in ypc and when they get into the redzone he is a big target i look for him to get more touchdowns as he really wasnt discovered til midway through the season
Lavelle Hawkins- 50 Receptions 650 yards 3 touchdowns 13 ypc
Lavelle is showing good stuff in ota's and had a good day in his first training camp i look for him to secure a spot early and see the field a lot and be an explosive deep threat for vince possible rookie of the year canidate people might see this as a long shot but he has all the potential lets just see if he follows through i say he does!
Roydell Williams- 45 receptions 500 yards 2 touchdowns 11 ypc
Roydell will have a lesser roll this year who knows how he will respond from his broken ankle he is fighting for a spot in training camp and preseason even though he led the team in receptions and touchdowns last season if thats not a blow to your confidence then you tell me whats worse.
Alge Crumpler- 45 receptions 400 yards 2 touchdowns 8.8 ypc
Alge will become a solid target for vince be good for them in the redzone along with Bo scaife and Justin Gage also he will be good on mid range third down conversions. He wont have a pro bowl year as we dont have the passing ability to take him there but he will be good for us.
Rest of Team Recieving- 55 receptions 400 yards 1 touchdown
With a team full of different guys like brandon jones biren ealy justin mcCareins a lot of yards will go to there not main recievers not many touchdowns though.
All in all i expect nothing more than another good season the titans are without a doubt the most exciting team to watch whether they are scoring 24 points in 10 minutes to beat the giants kicking 60 yard field goals to beat the colts having 3 defenseive touchdowns to beat the jags watching hometown hero vince young run for 38 yards in overtime to beat the Texans beating the colts backups to make it to the playoffs or just watching them in their sexy light blues the titans are on the rise in the national football league look for them to be in the super bowl in a few years adding the players to improve our already solid foundation.

Vince's Completion Percentage
Was above 62% in the ‘07 season so a 61% completion percentage is not an improvement.
If I hit a hole-in-one on this grand slam the dominoes will fall like a house of cards. Checkmate.

I didnt really phrase that i right i meant as in he will raise it to 61% for his career not in this upcoming season i realize he had a 62.3 completion percentage

not sure about this
You have us 10-6 which is possible, but you have us 2-4 in our division, I can see more of a 4-2 record. Splitting with Jax and Indy. Jax NEVER starts the season well, plus they have to come to OUR HOUSE! We will win the season opener. We all know VY sines in prime time. His first MNF game at home (I will be there for that) we could see a BCS type preformance out of VY! We will win that game also. I personally see us going 11-5 this year. Here is how I see it.
Jax- W
Cin-W
Hou-W
Min-W
Bal-W
Bye
KC-L (There is always one we shouldnt lose but do)
IND-W
GB-W
Chi-W
Jax-L (This is a good team tough to beat at home)
NYJ-W
Det-W
Cle-L (Still pissed at us for knocking them out the playoff race)
Hou-W
Pit-L (This game could go either way)
Ind-L(Last game of the year Indy will need this for Home Field adv.)
Someone once said "Vince Young bleeds two toned blue!" But I disagree, because The Great One Doesnt Bleed!!

hmm
jacksonville does start bad but vince does too last year i think he had like under a 100 yards and a pick in that game against the jags. Also i dont really count this but in his first real start of his career at dallas he had 2 picks and under 50 completion percent I love my boy VY but hes got get off quick we all know are run game carried us and in that second game against the jags it was all d

11-5
Is my guess too – and I think if there’s a team in our division we’ll drop both games to, it’ll be Jacksonville. I’d guess 3-3 in the division and 8-2 outside division, with drops to Cleveland and Kansas CIty (huh?). I think this is a great schedule for the Titans. Lucky that we get Indy on the last game of the season again – always that chance that they are already secure in a berth in resting. Although this year I think the Colts may struggle more than usual, and might be still swingin’ for life at the end of the year.

numbertenox- My guess is they go 4-2 in the division, but that’s banking on a sweep of the Texans, perhaps I’m too confident there. I think they go 7-3 outside of the division. I think the Bengals are a bad matchup simply because its the first road game and they can put up points quickly and our offense isn’t equipped for that kind of game.
On the other hand I think the Vikings are a strong team but the Titans match up very well with them. They can’t pass and the Titans will simply load up and stop Peterson. Their Pass rush is great but VY is the perfect guy to handle that task.
The Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Cleveland, Minnesota and Bengals games are the games that can go either way.
The schedule is great in the sense that the toughest games with the NFC North and AFC North are at home. The Titans also caught a break with the Colts. You have to love that they come to Nashville for a Monday night which increases the homefield edge, and that we catch them in the final week. It’s almost an assured split, and we actually have a legit shot to sweep the Colts.

could be
We’ve got a tough division, but 4-2 seems possible for them. I’d be really, really impressed if they do better than a 4-2 mark in the division though. I feel a lot better about this schedule than I did same time last year about the previous schedule. On the flip side, I felt a lot better about VY this time last year than I do now ;-). Hopefully he’ll have a better year with respect to scoring to interception ratio.
