Happy Birthday Vince Young!!
Here is to hoping his birthday wish is for a run to the Super Bowl this season.
Sorry for the lack of posts here over the last few days. There is very little news going on this time of year. Things will pick up a little this week with the rookies and the veterans being on the field together for the first time.
There are a couple of interesting fanposts that you should check out. Our resident Cal expert, BearsNecessity, posted his thoughts on rookie tight end Craig Stevens. Hook em Titans posted some comments from Roydell Williams on the differences between Norm Chow and Mike Heimerdinger. I have already said this a million times, but I am really excited to see what Dinger can bring out in Vince. I think we will see a lot of the same magic we saw in 2006.

Vince Partying for his Birthday?
Who cares what he is doing?
If he likes to party with guys and not wear a shirt, then let him do it. I for sure would not. But as long as he is not in a strip club with Pacman, shooting up the joint, then I dont care. If he keeps winning, let him do his thing, albeit it is a bit odd.

It's good to show love for Vince Young...
but he wasn’t “winning” last year. The defense carried him. 2008 is a big year for Vince; if he doesn’t improve his stats it will be hard for him to continue to carry the mantle as a franchise quarterback.
And to clarify… I’m a huge fan… I own the jersey… my desktop wallpaper is VY#10 in Longhorn gear, I watch Youtube videos of Vince ripping up the competition as the quarterback for Houston’s Madison High school when I get bored.
But the sad reality is, Vince was not good last year. And he certainly did not “keep on winning”. The team won, even though the QB put up mediocre performances. It would be more accurate to say that Jim Schwartz kept on winning last year.
Kevin Mawae...
Wonder what HE thinks about the pictures?
OHHHH

OK I went there. Coming on back now.
