Let's Hear Ya Titan's Fans!!
Ok, I can't handle the idleness anymore. I have got to do something to get a little activity on this site.
I want to hear your predictions. We have heard a lot of good news on our boy Vince, Lendale proves even more that he is a work horse and can carry the load. Kearse says he is an every down DE and Fowler says he is still the man even hurt.
I want to know what your starting lineup looks like for opening day, and as a bonus lets hear some predictions on VY, Lendale, and the WR's
I will start us off.
Make some noise Titans Fans, this site is what gets me through the LONG off season.
Opening Day
LT-Roos
LG-Scott
C-Mawae
RG-Amano
RT-Stewart
TE-Crumpler
WR1-Gage
WR2-Roydell
FB-Hall
RB-White
QB-VY
Vince-has his breakout year! Dinger works wonders, and VY is a playmaker. With that being said
VY- 3,250 YDS 22 TD's 9 INT's 700yds rushing 4TD's 13 Wins
Gage- 800yds 6TD's
Roydell- 700yds 5Td's
Crumpler-500yds 4 TD's
Scaife-400yds 3 TD's
Hawkins- 400 yds 2 TD's
Davis-a few yds and a TD
Elay- Nothing much Ydg wise but still pulls down a TD
Alright there are my educated guesses lets see yours.

I agree on the Offensive roster save 1 spot: Looper or Otto > Amano
I’ve never been a big Amano fan personally…
Here’s the numbered predictions (one note: I love VY full bore and look forward to seeing the progress he’s made with ‘Dinger, but he’s never going to be Peyton or Brady with the #’s except where it really counts: the win column!)
VY- 2,900 YDS 20 TDs 12 INTs 850 yds rushing 8TDs 12 Wins
Gage- 800yds 6TDs
Roydell- 700yds 5TDs
Crumpler-700yds 8 TDs
White-1,300yds 12TDs
C. Johnson-850yds* 8TDs (with another 40 catches probably)
Our best pick-up this off-season has been 'Dinger. Go Titans!

Isnt
Jake Scott probably going to be our RG – but other than that I agree. I dont think Roydell will start – I think someone will step up. Ealy – or Hawkins.
Vince will hape 3100 YDS 18 TDS 8 INTS 600 RUSHING yards – 13 Wins
Gage – 900yrds 6 tds
Hawkins – 800 yrds 3 tds
Roydell – 600 yrds 1 td
Crump – 700 yrds – 8 tds
White – 1200yrds 10 tds
Chris Johnson – 600 rushing yrds – 500 yrds pass
and on defense Jevon replaces Odom, and A. Johnson beats out Tony Brown to start – TBrown plays end rotation.

I agree with:
LT-Roos
LG-Scott
C-Mawae
RG-Amano
RT-Stewart
TE-Crumpler
WR1-Gage
WR2-Hawkins or Ealy
Then Williams, scafe, davis…question…does Mike Williams play? And don’t forget Johnson
FB-Hall
RB-White
QB-VY
I see Young doing great with Hawkins, Crumpler, Ealy and prehaps dare I say Henry doing better than expected. Also I imange our DL being Kick A—! Also I say was can def. get our super bowl this year. If ‘Dinger can get everyone to be better like they say and if our D’ can be just as good if not better, I don’t see why we won’t.

Don't forget
The McCareins factor at WR. His most successful year in the NFL was under dinger, and since Roydell is hurt he’s getting starting reps in OTAs:
WR depth chart is going to be a free for all.
I’m very optimistic on the passing game improving next year too, but I think hoping for tripling the number of touchdowns or more is a bit much. I’d guess around 16 to 20 passing touchdowns next year. They’ll still lean on the run game a lot even with dinger back in the house.

Got no issue with the roster, except...
I don’t think R. Williams is gonng come back that fast. I predict J. McCareins as the #2 WR to start and then getting supplanted by either M. Williams or B Ealy. McCareins winds up #3 going forward.
It’s more interesting to me to ponder D-Line starters. I predict J. Kearse comes out strong, gets hurt, and then finishes strong in the playoffs—all told, not a bad season for a Vet DE on a 2-year deal.
My line:
Vince will hape 2400YDS 17 TDs, 7 INTs, 500 RUSHING yards, 7 TDs Rushing – 11 Wins
Gage – 700yrds, 4 tds
McCareins – 500 yrds, 2 tds
Roydell – 300 yrds
M. Williams (or Ealy) – 600 yds, 4 tds
Crump – 700 yrds, 5 tds
White – 1150yrds, 8 tds
Chris Johnson – 500 rushing yrds, 6 tds – 500 yrds pass, 2 tds
- I hope that all adds right. Bottom line: primary TD machines are:
- Crumpler or VY in Red Zone (via boot leg)
- L. White via power running
- C Johnson on screen pass/reverse/change-up (non-red zone)
- M Williams/Biren Ealy deep

This is what is really going to happen...
VY gets hurt in pre-season, with a nasty groin injury, gets placed on PUP.
Kerry Collins throws for 4000 yards, 27 TDs but loses in ugly fashion in the first game of the post-season, hits the bottle (again) then gets arrested for DUI.
Lendale White loses the starting job to Quinton Ganther, who completely wows Dinger in practice and earns the starting slot. Ganther rushes for 2.8 YPC but Dinger sticks to his guns and leaves him in until the end of the season.
Chris Johnson returns 9 kickoffs, 6 punts for touchdown. Continues to improve speed and breaks world record at Beijing Olympics in the 100 and 200 meter dash.
Keith Bulluck shatters NFL record by recording 10 interceptions in Monday night game against the Colts.
August West gets the nod as a walk-on at starting defensive end after an ugly injury puts Kearse on the DL. West amazingly gets invited to the pro-bowl after only 7 starts.
Chris Henry impresses everyone by showing up at camp weighing 275 pounds with only 6% bodyfat. Fisher eyes his physique longingly. Henry is immediately served a season-long suspension for PED usage.
Lavelle Hawkins falls into a deep depression and loses his skills seemingly overnight after waking up one day and out-of-nowhere realizing his parents actually named him ‘Lavelle’.
Crumpler brings ironic meaning to his surname, when his tired old knees literally crumple like accordions in a week#1 tackle against Jacksonville. Craig Stevens immediately steps in and blocks everyone in sight, while Ganther continues to only grind out a measly 2.8 YPC.

Also, I'm more of a stand-up 3-4 pass rusher. Not sure I'd fit in our system...
or any system where the goal was to ‘win’ or ‘not get killed’.

Yeah, well
there is an “e” and an upside down “w” so it’s closer than an ‘I”!
