Not to beat a dead horse..........But
I still think that we might just be OK with our reciever situation. I know some of you are going to bash me for this comment, but Dinger is known for making something out of nothing. With that in mind Gage and Roydell had a good year last year and have the potential to be great under Dingers offense. With that being said I am going to give a few predictions and want to hear the same from all of you.
Roydell will develop into our strech the field guy. (7 TD's and our 1st 1000 yd reciever since D. Mason.
Gage will have the same great year he did last year with 4 or 5 TDs and 700 yds or so.
Crumpler returns to form and grabs 800 yds and a handfull of TD's with a PRO BOWL!!
McCareins proves to be a reach and struggles.
Paul Williams actually plays a game this year.
B. Jones (I honestly am affraid to say. He could be good, or he could be the same old same old)
Hawkins plays in the slot from day one, and shows the same form he did at the senior bowl this year. Kid is a gamer.
Alright let the bashing begin, and somehere in the mist of it all I am sure Jimmy will chime in with a logical comment, and BeansCarter will make sure to try and kill any logic that was presented.

Dinger was on the radio yesterday
and went out of his way to mention how much he liked B. Ealy, before saying that many of our guys just weren’t used correctly last year…
He also said VY has been in town working with him to learn the offense MUCH more than anyone realizes…

I think it was 104.5
If it wasn’t 104.5, it was 106.7. I checked both their websites, though, and no transcripts were listed.

I agree with you
I was more upset with what I saw as a mismanagement of the draft than I was with who we picked.
I did see Coach on the NFL network saying that Coach Dinger thinks he can play with what we got. So we will see. But I bet we see a big difference in receiver play.

I have full confidence in Dinger, it is going to be a fun year
Someone once said "Vince Young bleeds two toned blue!" But I disagree, because The Great One Doesnt Bleed!!

we might have WR issues
but the draft wasn’t going to solve them….particularly in the 1st round…
the only WR-related beef i have with this draft was not trading up in the 2nd to get the guy we wanted (probably sweed)....other than that, we played it pretty good regarding WR’s IMO…
Chris Johnson is faster than any WR we could have taken….we need speed, and the exact position shouldn’t matter that much…
and I do think that Dinger will be able to get more out of what we have….
my guess is that Gage, Jmac, Roydell and Ealy are the top 4 WR’s most of the year….and that BJ will get cut….

Disagree about Roydell...
but I could be wrong.
Other than that, I agree with you.

I agree
Very optimistic about next year. Although, I do think that the Titans have an extremely conservative draft strategy (non-imaginative in terms of trades / moving up-down). And I don’t think it was just this year – seems like it’s been that way for awhile, including Reese’s tenure. Don’t have any stats to check that hunch wth, tho.

I agree with much of that.
R. Williams – yup.
J. Gage – Big check. But I expect he’ll be the #1 by the of the year. No he doesn’t blaze, but he’s TALL, and that counts for a lot. Look at A. Gates from SD—similar size / background there.
Crumpler – I think he’s goode for about half the season. Then, sadly, he goes down, and we see C. Stevens and B. Scaife really step up.
I’m a big fan of McCareins. I think we’ll see him on the field a lot and making plays.
P. Williams and B. Jones are gonna struggle for playing time.
Hawkins and Ealy may fight for time on the field. Personally, I’d look for Hawkins more next year.

I mainly agree
We have enough WR on our team. Plus I think Hawkins will be good. Dingler will mean the most, more than getting amazing draft picks.
