ESPN.com Reporting 2010 NFL Pro Bowl to be Played Before Super Bowl
ESPN.com is reporting that next year's Pro Bowl will be played in the week between the Championship games and the Super Bowl and that it will be played Miami instead of Hawaii. This makes the Pro Bowl even more irrelevant, in my opinion, because it means the players from the two teams playing in the Super Bowl would sit out. They should really just vote for the players to give them the honor of being named and skip the game.

i think this could potentially be cool because it lets the fans see all of their favorite players they voted for play one last game. i would hope the super bowl players would be exempt from playing in that game but still considered as a Pro Bowl elected player.

The whole
pro-bowl voting process and game itself is a complete joke. verily it sucketh, and as much as I love NFL, I have no more use for the pro-bowl than I do the lint I found in my belly button the other day.
The biggest problem
Is that Superbowl teams often have many starters in the pro-bowl. No coach in their right mind would allow their players to go be a part of that game during key preparation time.
and then you have to replace them with other players
who might not deserve to be in the pro-bowl, thus diminishing it altogether. its ridiculous.

they should scrap the game altogether
and simply name a 1st team all pro and a 2nd team all pro for each conference.

the pro-bowl is all a big excuse to go to hawaii
without that, it has very little going for it, cuz the game sucks.

Eh... it's a game during the bye week before the Super Bowl.
