Terry McCormick nails it: the only down-side to all of this towel talk is that nobody nationally is paying much attention to the quality of the win against the alleged best team in the AFC. The upside: nobody is going to forget that we beat the Steelers this year!

Paul Kuharsky has video of Bulluck on ESPN talking about the TItans victory.

Are Steelers observers really surprised that we pummeled yet another QB without having to blitz? We've probably only blitzed 20 times all year and are sitting at 4th in sacks in the NFL.

Let me say that again so that it sinks in: we're 4th in all of the NFL in sacks, and we don't blitz.

5. You have to laugh, though, at people getting all bent out of shape over a towel. "Oh no, sir! Now you have stepped over the line! Spitting on my 4-year-old son in the bathroom and calling my wife a $@*%* is one thing. But stepping on my most cherished little yellow cloth? How dare you! You will pay!" But hey, for whatever reason, people cherish those towels. It's like when in college, my roommate used my bath towel one morning. It was an honest mistake -- it looked just like his. But that's not the point. The point is, even several years later, he still can't figure out who set his car on fire or what got on his toothbrush that gave him a severe bacterial infection.

Nice to see The Sporting News agree with me: Michael Griffin probably deserved a spot in the Pro Bowl.

ugh...I clicked on the DJ's #4 item -

I made it to the game with my father-in-law, an old school Steelers fan who brought his terrible towel. We sat club level, section 214, which were some kickass seats. I doubt there were 20,000 Steelers fans, but there is no doubt that there were too many.

bbs doesn’t pay attention to anything besides how many hits he can manufacture by spouting off his juvenile garbage. that and being absorbed with relevant football issues like the size of lendale’s p enis. personally i would be embarrassed to let it show through how fixated i was on another grown man’s genitals, but in the same weekend he also commented on the size of one of the colts players testicles. clearly the big blue shithead has some issues when it comes to beans and franks, but it is starting to get a little bit ridiculous…

is such a weasel, he went out of his way to point out before our game against Pittsburgh that if we beat Pittsburgh, then clearly everybody was overrating Pittsburgh.

Another one of his little ploys is to talk up every single one of the Colts opponents, no matter how bad they are. Case in point, he went on and on about good the Lions were… It’s some kind of hedge, I think. If he talks up the opponent, the win is amplified, and if they lose, the loss is less shameful since it was against a “respectable” opponent.

He loves to take chip shots at us in little insidious ways, for example describing us as a mediocre team playing consistently while describing the Texans as a good team playing inconsistantly. Not-so-hidden message? We’re worse than the Texans. He hates Lendale, VY and everything about the Titans, yet will stand on his soap box and pretend to “analyze” our team.

He makes it fun to hate the Colts. In fact, he gives us no choice.

It's no coincidence

that he’s taking shots at LenDale now that VY is on the bench and out of the spotlight. But like I said yesterday, he’s got to create controversy/excitement somehow because for 6 days a week that team is boring as fuck to follow… and he knows it.

That’s just how I see it, though.

Where I was raised 2 + 2 = 3rd and 6.
