Jim Wyatt Reporting Six Tennessee Titans Make the 2009 Pro Bowl

The official announcement is still a few minutes away, but Jim Wyatt is reporting that the Tennessee Titans will have 6 representatives in this year's Pro Bowl. Those 6 are Albert Haynesworth, Cortland Finnegan, Chris Hope, Michael Roos, Kevin Mawae and Chris Johnson.

The only Titans that got screwed is Rob Bironas. Bironas is 28-31 on the season and hasn't missed a field goal under 40 yards. Stephen Gostkowski has missed one from 20-29. Come on.

Also, Roos should be starting, but he made it and that is what really matters.

I love Rob,

But Gostkowski’s numbers have been better in almost every category, if only by a hair.

Ahmard Hall got screwed

because Le’Ron McClain has been a running back since day 1 of this season (19 carries in week 1, actually). The NFL should have shifted him over there on the ballot.

I feel the same way about Vonta Leach. Just like we both probably thought was going to happen.

I’m obviously not a Titans fan… quite the opposite – but the fact that Michael Roos is the BACKUP to Joe Thomas at LT is a complete joke. I even said so on my site.

Heh, yeah, thanks. We expected that. In fairness, OD was going GREAT for a long time, then kind of tapered off lately – but Gates definitely got ahead of him only because of his name.

OD was named as an alternate though… and players drop out of the PB every year, so who knows?

I'm really happy

for Chris Hope. After the injury he had last year, it’s good to see him come full circle. Would have loved to see Griff on the team, but they don’t take many DBs obviously.
